OT- DC commercial plane and Blackhawk collide

I really can't go into detail per board rules. But I can start with some letters and numbers . 6, 1/2 of 44, VP, C19, 34, ......... very cryptic I know.
Without referring to any one person or group, what does your free-thinking and unburdened mind consider “extreme” with current and / or proposed policies? Foreign or domestic? And, what would be the smart, common sense alternative? Thank you! Other unburdened minds, feel free to hop in.

Dude. You know we can't have this discussion. For me it all starts and ends with character. I don't oppose everything. I do oppose somethings. But for me some things simply aren't negotiable....outright (proven)criminality and disgusting lies/actions are part of that.

There is a lot of information out there for one to educate themselves with. Regardless of what I say you and others won't agree. So the rest is moot.

But I really don't. Before you know.... the old/new guy. I was a member of the group you don't think I belong to. If I could vote across the board as an independent in all elections I would do so. But our system is stupid so I'm stuck picking a side if I want my vote to matter.

I actually like Dingle from the little I know based on his posts. I actually like a lot of people who make me shake my head from time to time. Maybe that's why I come off as passive aggressive. I want to say that's the dumbest shit I've ever read or heard, but want to do it tactfully, yet at the same time, a bit condescending.
It’s called discussing a subject. I can disagree vehemently with fiends which I share many common beliefs. I generally try not to ridicule those differing views.

You’re a “character” guy, and your opposition is to one guy? Pffff. That isn’t logical or commonsensical. Sounds like you are much more emotional than anything, and emotion secured in mainstream gobbledie gook. You don’t represent yourself as a free thinker.

I don't ridicule differing view. I ridicule outlandish, conspiracy driven BS that has been propagated and normalized over the last 10 years of American political theater.

I had some good friends who have been pulled into the rabbit holes and I honestly don't know if they will ever get back. They don't see it but everyone else does. 2 of them literally quit coaching because they decided that our school board and the admin had become leftist/socialist/Indoctrinating/what have yous/you name it/flavor of the month/demonic/anti-american/soul-less/non-transparent/open border/1st amendment enemies of the people. Sound familiar? Coincidence that it gained traction 2015-2021?

That's completely different than having a conversation about how best to cut taxes, or save money at the national level, or even pro choice/pro life.

LOl he trying to get me banned. I made my last comment and won't say anything else from there. Have a good weekend.
Not at all. Just would love the insight from a self-professed free-thinking, common sense and logical American who is in opposition to the extreme.

LOL one guy? That one person owns an entire political party. And yes, I love my country and my community, so it does result in strong emotions.

One doesn't need the msm to inform themselves of what their eyes and ears have been telling them from the start. Its never been about what others have said. It's about what has been seen and heard that tells everything one needs to know. That's free thinking.

I can certainly remark about the extremes on both sides. but I think you are only interested in 1. But I can play along. example 1 there are 2 sexes. Boy and Girl. Beyond that I don't care. No Boys in girls sports or bathrooms. Pretty easy.
That to me is common sense.
Neither side has a monopoly on stupidity and the extremes on the left have certainly gave blossom and legitimacy to the extremes on the right. It's just for me 1 extreme is far more dangerous than the other. And 1 person has embraced, and profited from that extreme more than anyone else.

Your free thinking and common sense doesnt seem to have anything to do with policy or strategy or planning. You see / hear something that harms your specific set of sensibilities, and when it does, those persons that agree with that one meanies policy or plan, are extremists and lack common sense and logic? Did i get that right?

Not out of the realm of possibility. China has secret police stations here and flew a balloon over our country. Them using drones would make sense.

Where he ignore the pilot of the Blackhawk ignored 200 foot ceiling rule?
Never said it wasn't a possibility. Claiming it happened while 2 different groups said differently would make that a conspiracy to hide that fact. Thus, a conspiracy theory.

He keeps talking in circles. Saying he didn't say something when he clearly did. Then trying to play his words and say he was only speculating. I'm just keeping the bullshit in check.

Sorry to be blunt...I hate ever generalizing someone, but if you're consumer of stuff like this or worst spreading stuff like this, you're a POS or at a minimum severely brainwashed.

It appears that way but the instructions from the controller were problematic as well. The instruction to “fly behind” at night with two planes in the immediate area wasn’t good. Wouldn’t the controller have their (the chopper) elevation.? The military chopper I saw on Tuesday in that exact area couldn’t have been more than 200’ over the river. It’s been determined that one controller was manning 2 positions at the time of the crash. I’m not going to comment on their sexes because the photo I saw pictures of one left some question.
You keep clinging to this fly behind instruction but yet don't mention the chopper pilot said he had visual and then asked for visual separation. Sure looking like the chopper was wrong and the military should be sued by the families

Yep it’s not the controllers fault if the chopper is eyeing the wrong plane. It’s a tragedy but in the end the military is responsible.

No not really. I have chosen not to address policy. We've already pushed the boundary.

I can't help you if your eyes and ears aren't telling you what's happening right in front of you. More to do with observation skills than sensibilities. LOL at your meanie comment. I know that's the go to for the followers. Accuse non followers of being weak and cowardly. It's a formula that has worked well. Why wouldn't you go to it right?

Have a good weekend. Truly hope you get everything you expect and more over the next decade or more.

Ya, humans are stupid and the worst. Always have been, always will be. Now they just have the ability to share it with the world.

You said it was “all about character.” If that’s the case, policy really doesn’t matter much to you, if at all. For someone who prides themselves on common sense and logic, I would think you’d get that. For my elected officials, the only part of character that matters is, do they mean what they say and are they going to actually follow through with it. Just about every single one of them have major character issues, so yeah, you thinking him too mean is true and it matters to you. I don’t care particularly care for the way that one guy goes about his business sometimes, but so long as he is taking care of business, that what he is there for. I don’t want to be friends with government, and I’m not naive enough to think that the character of anyone of them is that much better than another. l can be 100% confident that this country would be f’d 3 ways from Sunday had the other person won.

If you rely solely on their character, and not on the policy, you are one of the weak. Lots of people have what they think are really good ideas and think the person in charge is doing it wrong, but many of those same people have zero leadership ability, no offense to you personally. There are leaders, and there are followers. It is fairly easy to distinguish between the two.

We’re trying Ringo, we’re trying really hard to be the shepherd.

There certainly are followers. I would say anyone that blindly follows another, without fail, is too ignorant to be a leader. That is the problem with this country right now. Everyone wants to blindly choose a side. I can't tell you how many people I know who blindly go against their lifestyle, livelihood, and way of life. It's eye opening.

It's shocking to many, but people actually exist who don't fall within a label. They agree with one group on one issue, another group on a different issue. That used to be accepted and people worked together. Not anymore.

You think the leader of the current group does what he says? Huh? Has a more full of shit person ever existed? Have you ever known or seen someone say more stuff that they can't back up?

Under Mr. Trump in April 2019, the F.A.A. announced a pilot program for 20 people with targeted disabilities to work in air traffic operations. Targeted disabilities are a set of statutorily defined disabilities, including, but not limited to, those cited by Mr. Trump, that the federal government emphasizes for recruiting. An archived page from June 2019 named the initiative the Aviation Development Program, which “provides an opportunity for persons with targeted disabilities to gain aviation knowledge and experience as an air traffic control student trainee.”
“The candidates in this program will receive the same rigorous consideration in terms of aptitude, medical and security qualifications as those individuals considered for a standard public opening for air traffic controller jobs,” the F.A.A. said in 2019. Those standards include passing an air traffic skills assessment and a medical exam.
