Of course. And I actually think there’s a good case to be made for Miles winning Coach of the Year, but he won’t.Better 2nd in COY balloting than Moos digging his list with 3 or 4 names out of his desk drawer.

Oooops.....hindsight is always 20/20I usually want to see more size on the floor, but if Maryland wants to feed the ball to Fernando to try to take advantage of his size - let them! He's just not very good.
ummm. No it won't. He wants Creighton to be the only basketball school in the state.Bruce Rasmussen being the chair of the committee will only help come selection time
It's tough when they let guys like Fernando hook you or lower their shoulder in to you and bang you until you're under the basket then call a ticky tacky foul the next trip on you. He gets what looks like stupid fouls called on him but then he gets absolutely no calls from the officials when he has the ball in his hands. It has to be horribly frustrating.Just needs to play smarter.
No. His team has not really proved anything yet. If he had the offense clicking before 10 games In, maybe. I am not saying they are not playing well, but they are not even tourney worthy yet.Of course. And I actually think there’s a good case to be made for Miles winning Coach of the Year, but he won’t.
You are talking to a crayton fan.ummm. No it won't. He wants Creighton to be the only basketball school in the state.
I realize that. The idea that somehow Rasmussen is going to help get NU in to the tourney is silly. If anything he should be familiar with how good NU has looked and trended up the during conference play, but I doubt he points that out to the committee. IF it's close and we don't get in, I'll lay that at Rasmussen's feet. You are talking to a crayton fan.
Miles talked about this after the game. He said that even though Fernando hurt NU more than he expected, he was willing to live with that as long as the perimeter defense was solid. And I agree with him about that - Huskers gave up more points in the paint that you would like, but still held the Terps to 66 points (they average 75) because their guards never really got on a roll.Oooops.....hindsight is always 20/20
Wow, are you touchy. I wasn't criticizing you, I was pointing out that even if he is COY or runner up, there will still be people calling for his job.I guess you had to look long and hard for any post that would allow you to flex your Johnny SuperFan bona fides - so you chose this one? I happen to think Miles will finish 2nd in the COY race. Why does my saying so prompt this response?
I just find it amusing that after each and every game you whine about how our terrible basketball fans can't enjoy the fact that the team is having some success, and instead focus on the coach's job status. So on a night when absolutely nobody is talking about the coach's job status, who decides to start that pissing match?Wow, are you touchy. I can understand a bit where he’s coming from. When people are incredibly vocal about how bad a coach Miles is after a loss, and these people claim to be just truth tellers, fair and balanced, why isn’t there as much vocal support when things are going well?I just find it amusing that after each and every game you whine about how our terrible basketball fans can't enjoy the fact that the team is having some success, and instead focus on the coach's job status. I prefer to actually discuss what happened in the game, which is kind of the purpose of a game thread, and try to stick to that whether the Huskers are winning or losing. I guess critiquing the quality of our fan base and its commentary just isn't a passion for me.I can understand a bit where he’s coming from. Instead it’s just crickets at best. So a coach can’t win. He gets blasted when they lose but never credit when they win.
Sorry. I wasn’t speaking directly about anything you posted or anyone else. Literally read about the guy saying people still want Miles to lose his job.I prefer to actually discuss what happened in the game, which is kind of the purpose of a game thread, and try to stick to that whether the Huskers are winning or losing. I find it amusing that you are able to whine when there is nothing to whine about.
