Most Improved OL's

I mean, one could look at it that way and the logic is pretty sound. But it really doesn’t account for the fact that our NFL caliber starting QB is also his(Donnie’s) nephew. If there wasn’t strong connection between our best player and our O-line coach your logic would be a lot harder to poke wholes. JMO
Did being Uncle Donnie help with the retention? Sure. But when he retained Raiola, he said Donnie just kept coming into work while the others were at home waiting to be fired and that he and Raiola have the same approach and philosophy to coaching OL. If Rhule has a competent line coach who he is sympatico with in terms of coaching approach, that stands on its own. That he is the uncle of two very good young QBs had something to do with him being in Lincoln in the first place, and advantaged him in being retained during the coaching transition. And rather than there being something wrong with that, it’s actually a bonus for the program.

Celebrating 4th place, what a winning attitude.

When your son tells you he was some gals 4th choice to go to prom with, I’m sure it will be a family celebration.
4th place with 18 teams. So you don’t want a top 4 OT in the conference at his position? Admit you enjoy a shitty football team. It explains why you’re pathetically bitter all the time. And even if my son gets to be the 4th pick for prom, it’s a better result than the dude you chose to bring that bent you over that night and left you with his cum seeping out of you on your walk of shame home so your dad and uncle could get their 2nd round of the day on your freshly lubricated booty hole.

hilarious from the guy celebrating mediocrity.

I bet the 4 pt loss to Ohio State was your favorite game this year
Never celebrated. You couldn’t find me celebrating it if your life depended on it. Pointed out the fact he’s a 2x HM All-Conference player. Sorry it hurts you so much to see a crappy player get selected for it. Makes you feel even worse about yourself.

Yes, losing to rivals because of complete breakdowns doesn’t feel good to me.

Guess I’m just a more invested fan than you.

Sure, let’s not celebrate and acknowledge the VERY FEW people who even get HM all conference selections from our terrible offense, let alone the team of overall. Sounds like you’d rather us have no HM at all. Makes a lot of sense. I’m not here toting them to be 1st round picks, but the negative pricks like you want to discredit ANYTHING remotely positive. So really, I’d say it’s you that’s a wimp and I’m laughing at you.
This thread is about how amazing of a coach Donnie is and he’s just not. There’s no need to be negative but there’s no reason to lie either. Let’s not blow smoke. So let’s not brag about a jump when the bar is low and continues to be low. Let’s not brag about HM “because very few people get that and it’s weally, weally , hard to do dat?”

Very few people get a chance to play college football, doesn’t mean I can’t criticize. Crap, does your wife always keep your balls in her purse or do you get to use them on holidays.

I don't see any of uncle donnie's OL projected to be drafted this spring

weird

I’m not the one claiming there were 10 OT recognized as HM. I figured you wouldn’t back up you claim with facts.
1. Melvin Priestly, OT, Illinois
2. Carter Smith, OT, Indiana
3. Beau Stephens, OT, Iowa
4. Mason Richman, OT, Iowa
5. Myles Hinton, OT, Michigan
6. Luke Newman, OT, Michigan State
7. Caleb Tiernan, OT, Northwestern
8. Josh Thompson, OT, Northwestern
9. Josh Fryar, OT, Ohio State
10. Josh Simmons, OT, Ohio State
11. Anthony Donkoh, OT, Penn State
12. Marcus Mbow, OT, Purdue
13. Elijah Paige, OT, USC
14. Jack Nelson, OT, Wisconsin

15. Bryce Benhart, OT, Nebraska

you were right, @OzzyLvr. there weren't 10 honorable mention OTs in the B1G. there were 15, including Benhart.

thanks for keeping me honest
