Yes! Streak started against KU in Lincoln and ended against UCLA in Los Angeles. Both teams coached by Pepper Rodgers! Nice job.

Was at the KU game back then if pass interference was called it wasn’t a 15 yard penalty...Jim McFarland was interfered with inside the 10 or 15 and a KU player also received a personal foul ball was placed at the 3 yard line and Jeff Kinney scored the winning TD..

Pepper Rodgers was so pissed off eating a sandwich that it was reported that Bob Devaney jokingly ask Pepper how he like his brother in law officiating.

i think that was osborne's first game we were ranked no. 1 pre-season and lost i believe 17-14 at the coliseum with a fg. by efren herrera.harmon against david humm. i witnessed that debacle.

No that was Devaney’s last year.. Osborne won his debut in 1973..
