They did return the final kickoff though that cost them a few yards but more importantly 6 seconds. One more play could get them 10 yards and made the final FG attempt more manageable.

Agree, he was the DC - under Urban Meyer - for that OSU NC team 6 or 7 years ago. He's a rock solid football guy
