Meh, KKKF won’t let go that easily. They’ll still run behind zone blocking and pass almost exclusively to the TE. It’s embarrassing that Nebraska has done so poorly against them after Pelini.

Yep, he did a great job with Duke the last two years. I was disappointed that Duke let him go.
Maybe, but serious question......will KF allow him to run the offense? History says no.
How is 94 in total offense a great job this year?

If you saw how many injuries the team had (especially at QB), you would know how well Johns did. As OC, Johns went 17-9 as Duke's OC after being 5-18 the two years prior to his and Mike Elko's arrival.
Starting QB Riley Leonard (since transferred to ND to start there in 2024) went down at the end of the game vs Notre Dame. Redshirt freshman Henry Belin IV made his 1st career start the next week at NC State and Duke won on the road. Against FSU, Duke was leading in the 4th until Leonard got hurt again while defensive players started dropping like flies. Leonard tried to play through it again the following week vs Louisville, was clearly not the same, left the game in the 4th and never played the rest of the season. Then Belin IV got hurt, and true freshman Grayson Loftis had to play the rest of the season while half the defense was injured. Still finished 3-2 on the season and won 8 games while Loftis threw for 1006 yds, 8 TDs and 4 ints.
Well now I guess it’s all a moot point now that we have new circumstance…
