Greatest Huskers to wear every number 1-99

One last thing and then I'll shut up ...
Verne Lewellen, 1921 NU QB, is a member of both the college and NFL Halls of Fame. If he wore a number in his college days, he should be listed too.
As u might be able to tell, I am a (rank amateur) historian regarding college football and Nebaska in particular. This discussion is right up my alley. Thank you for indulging me.
Yours is a great list. I'm still going to go with Tom Rathman over Wonder Monds, but I should have mentioned Monds in my #15-30 - if only because he serves as the avatar for this board's funniest poster...

#35 is quite a star-studded number at NU. Ed Weir and Jeff Kinney are legends, Rick Berns was terrific and Kris Brown was one of the program's best kickers.

#57- Kenny Walker- One of the most inspirational Huskers of all time.

Pretty sure I have a beanie bear #57 because of him... Could be wrong tho.

Don't ask how much time I wasted on this list. Got tired of looking so I skipped some of the higher numbers and I'm sure I missed some really good players.

Edit: Should add Ameer to #8, Roy Helu #10, and Rex #22. I shorted some of the more recent guys just because I got tired and quit looking. 21- Prince, 4-Larry Asante, 61- Spencer Long
