QB - A+ - doesn't get any better
WR - B - decent, we need some to be over achievers
RB - F? So far unless we get someone
OL - A- very strong on paper
TE - A

DL - C? Not a lot of flash here
LB - A - seems to be some studs
DB - A? We got a lot of them, some should be good.
K - A - the walkon has a milf.

I'd go A+ on TE's. B+ WR's. Other than that your list looks correct.

One thing that can't stated enough - diversity within positions. For instance - Nelson is a very athletic pass catching TE. Flynt is a big, physically mature traditional TE. And the Papio one is really tall.

Oline - a OT in Brix. Taumua is traditional OG. LV kid a true OT. Iowa and Colorado kids true OG. Pyle I don't know.

LB - maybe a B? Is there a impact Freshman like we may need? Is anyone physically mature enough to play this year?

A+ for specialists. I wouldn't take any other punter in America and we got the #1 kicker in Jersey to walk-on and compete with Alvano. Spectacular. Probably won't matter but I believe Quinn Clark was also the best punter in Montana. Could be some trickery at some point with him.

DL had Murphy only, so that had to be a D-
But it really wasn’t a position of need this class
DB had a lot of numbers but none were really highly rated, so on paper a B- at best
But, since we took so many DBs, and a couple might become LBs, it will likely be good for us.
I just wonder about Guthrie and Taylor, both had injuries their senior year. Getting anything out of them will be a plus

What if you combined the last 2 classes and graded them. Last year there were some quality DL that would get that grade up a bit.

RB is about the only position in the two year period that I think needs some improvement.
This is what I was thinking. Have to really like what we have coming back on the DL, in total. If Ty wasn’t coming back, then I could see giving an average grade maybe. But we have a lot of talent already there and we had more important needs elsewhere.
I hope we get a damn good RB. Been a long time since we had a game changer.

Flynt is a 4-star TE as well. More of a traditional blocking TE but with him, Carter's athletic ability and Ingwerson's size that's a hell of a TE class. Keelan Smith may end up at TE as well. A+ class of TE's.

DL is a huge gap. With the big bodies especially you aren't recruiting for next season, you are recruiting for 2-3 years down the road. The 2023 class was heavy on the DL, but I'd still like to see a legitimate NT in this group. Even if they are just a "diamond in the rough" type who will need three years in the weight room.

Yeah yeah yeah, the portal can fill that need. But culturally you want them in the program long-term. Think of Nebraska's teams in the mid-1990's with that of JUCO-heavy Kansas State. I'd much rather have the team built around guys who will be on campus 4-5 years and have built up a culture of hard work and high standards.

I hear what you are saying and I would also like to see some smash mouth defensive linemen sign each year. We do have a very good NT signing next year in Tyson Terry who reminds me of Nash Hutmarcher. Tyson will need a year to build up his body and conditioning but I'm sure he'll be a good one down the line.

We have a some big bodies here now with Jeudy, Sua, VCJ, RVP.

Agree. A bowl game is a given next year. The year after we are at 10 wins. In year 4 we have a legit shot at the playoffs.

Too many TE's. Ever notice how the worst team's best player is the TE and the elite team's best player is either a receiver or the QB? It's not a coincidence.

If I’m the kid transferring from Oregon, I’m looking at opportunities for carries in Lincoln. He would probably be the best back in the room.

Culture doesn't exist anymore. Reviving culture is like trying to revive a dead corpse.

QB? YES! The rest... You are giving too much credit.. Class is very top-heavy.
You remember earlier this year when I said this would be a top 20 class? You were bitching then how the class and every recruit sucked. Pepperidge farm remembers. 17th on Rivals. 19th on 247.😂😰

One disappointment this program has had recently is landing a top notch RB..

Maurice Washington been the last one that had a high ceiling, but only was here for 2 years..

Jason Maciejczak from the 23 class is going to be a great NT in this system. He was one of my favorite recruits in that class. I think he will replace Nash after he graduates and be an absolute beast here.

I think he made the move to O line. We still have 4 big boys here after Polar Bear and Ty leave with Tyson T also coming N 25. 3-3-5 we don't need as many big uglies anymore.
