He’s from the show American Pickers, where they salvaged for vintage items. Supposedly he had a stroke earlier this year and had been struggling with Crohn’s disease. Only 60 years old.
Sad. Such a young guy. I realize those reality shows are probably more staged than they are reality, but Frank sure was a likeable character.

I’m getting my booster this week. I was 100% against vaccine cards, lock downs and mandatory military vaccination. For those of us with pre-existing medical conditions though it was a blessing.

Love that show. Frank had a stroke 2 years ago. Beyond that no one knows what has/had happened. Speculation is a waste of time and energy.

However, friends are making plans to honor his wish for a celebration of life. The stroke in 2022 was the result of a blood clot in his leg. I took my buddies VFR out for a spin last night, and this coming from somebody who owned a shit ton of motorcycles, dirt and street, never had any fear of them even after being turned into a hood ornament once......well it had been a while since i rode, so I took his last nite on a whim and it scared the living crap out of me..was interested in buying it..not anymore.
Frank was rumored to be an alcoholic which led to him being cut out of the show. He expressed some animosity towards Mike Wolf in one story I read.

C'mon, Dingle. You're smarter than that. Data is showing the more boosters you get, the more compromised you become.
You have to consider other factors. Generally speaking the only people I know getting all of the updated boosters are people who already have a compromised health situation. I finally had a round of COVID (bad cold) last winter. It had been roughly a year since I had had a booster but even then my viral infection was pretty mild. I did do Paxlovid on about day 3 just because of my pre-existing risk factors. AS I AGE, I expect to get sicker from just about every viral infection I suffer. I've had viral pneumonia multiple times in years prior to COVID mostly due to my asthma. My cardiologist believed at one point that I had a viral myocarditis again prior to COVID ever being a thing. When I get a viral bronchitis and pneumonia I almost always end up with a secondary bacterial infection.
All that said, not once did I advocate for forcing people to get vaccinated nor did I like the vaccination cards. I've told stories about being in Cambridge MA during COVID where vaccine cards and masking were mandatory and the bartenders were wearing theirs under their chins. The bars and restaurants who weren't enforcing vaccine cards were packed and the bars that were requiring proof of vaccination were empty. Harvard's forced vaccination, testing and masking requirements were a joke.
Obviously, your choice. The reports I've heard from doctors and scientists I trust and the data I've seen shows that with each booster a person become more suseptible not just to Covid. I hope you have a different outcome.
