2ND HALF GAME THREAD!

I think this is what the offense looks like when Langsdorf has to take away the deep option because he doesn't trust Tommy not to throw it no matter what.

On top of everything else, NU is losing about 20 yards on every exchange of punts.

Anyone watch the punt return by Iowa on that last punt?

They had multiple blockers keeping Nebraska's gunners from making it down field.

Wonder where they got such an idea... not sure I have seen that this year...

At least fyfe looked recivers off and went thru progressions. Offense looked like it clicked better despite his weaker arm. Its better than playing improvise ball with a qb who cant improvise because hes injured. Great deciscion head coach.

12 for 32. I actually feel sorry for him in that we couldn't recruit anyone even remotely competent to play QB and thus have been forced to trot him out there for 4 years.

Yes, because if there's one thing Riley has shown, it's that he doesn't have the balls to make the big call.

That's sarcasm and I'm telling you that because you're not smart enough to know it.

The defensive lineman beat ALL the linebackers to that ball carrier. Why are our linebackers so bad this year?

recruiting better than we have in the last 8 years.

Recruiting rankings don't really reflect that. 26th last year and 24th this year. We haven't had a commit in over 2 months. We're not going to beat the likes of Ohio St and Michigan unless we start pulling in Top 10 recruiting classes.

24th is still better than recent years. And we can talk about getting top 10 classes till we're blue in the face, but doing that in Nebraska is much harder than some of you realize. I trust these guys way more than the last bunch to coach up the top 15-20 class to look like a top 10 class.

What an embarrassment having Noah Fant (sp) catch that on 4th down!!! As an FU we'll take you're home town recruits and beat you with them!!!!! Lovely

Completely agree with this. Recruiting is better but not nearly close enough to championship caliber. We need top 10 recruiting classes if we're going to seriously contemplate competing for national championships. I remember looking it up it's something like in the last 20 years every national champion and most runners up have had at least 1 rivals top 10 recruiting class in the previous 5 years. We're not even close to that.

So name the coach who magically gets us that. And if you say Scott Frost, you never get to post here again.

Riley needs to understand that if we continue to lose to Io_a, consider our 500 mile radius invaded. This should be a must win every year!!!
