Why not out the bad actors?

a) What’s the point? The NCAA is notoriously weak on punishing teams that play out of bounds. Especially if it’s a perennial contender.

b) Like our federal government, everyone is corrupt, so you’d hate to lose the advantages of participating in it.

c) Bystander effect - Everyone is a bit of a coward and waiting for someone else to do the right thing.

d) You shouldn’t have to name names. It’s so obvious, the NCAA should be stepping in and doing their damn job.

e) Michigan is a bunch of cheating scumbags and Hausmann should be deemed ineligible.

Scholarship Distribution Chart

Now that we have had signing day & various players leaving, it would be great to have an updated scholarship distribution chart. In the past, this site always had one under the "More" tab above. It seems we don't have one anymore, unless I have missed it somewhere. It's helpful and interesting to look at from time to time. Could we have one added to this site so we don't have to go elsewhere to find one? If I did miss it somewhere, sorry for the post.

Matt Rhule Deserves Huge Props for his recruiting

I am absolutely blown away by the recruiting job of Matt Rhule and his staff. Matt has to be one of the best recruiters Nebraska has ever had. We heard rumors before he was hired that he didn't enjoy recruiting. Boy was that a bunch of lies. It is not going to take 5 years for Matt to turn this program around. I can't believe Scott couldn't do that in 5 years. I am extremely proud to be a Huskers fan right now.

Big Ten Recruiting Class Rankings as of 1:30 PM Dec. 21

1. Ohio State (3)
2. Penn State (14)
3. Michigan (18)
4. Nebraska (26)
5. Iowa (29)
6. Minnesota (33)
7. Illinois (37)
8. Northwestern (38)
9. Michigan State (41)
10. Maryland (46)
11. Rutgers (60)
12. Wisconsin (64)
13. Purdue (68)
14. Indiana (88)

It's kind of surprising to see Michigan State so low. Makes you wonder if they're riding the transfer train to better compete with Ohio State, Penn State, and Michigan?

Recruiting The latest predictions on recent Nebraska visitors

There is a lot happening right now with Nebraska recruiting with so many commitments from high school players and transfers. I've been asked in a bunch of threads about my predictions for various prospects so why not get them in one handy spot?

>> Nebraska hosted NC State ATH commit Kyron Jones for an official visit this weekend.

I do not see him sticking with NC State but I don't believe Nebraska is the pick either. I see Jones ending up at Georgia.

>> Another flip target that Nebraska hosted this weekend was Vincent Carroll-Jackson.

The Syracuse commit will announce his college choice on Wednesday at 2 p.m. central/3 p.m. eastern time. I am predicting that Nebraska pulls off the flip here for the raw but talented defensive lineman.

>> Nebraska also hosted late-rising Oklahoma linebacker Eric Fields on an official visit this weekend.

I love Nebraska's position with Fields right now. He and the Huskers are a perfect fit and I see him being 'N' soon.

>> I also still feel really good that Florida transfer DE/OLB Chief Borders will be N.

>> I also still feel really good that Malik Hornsby will still commit to Nebraska.

>> One last note on an official visitor from this weekend, I am predicting Gretna OL/DL Mason Goldman to be committed to Nebraska soon.
