The defense gave up 6 rushing TDs all season. I think all 6 came against Indiana. No team scored a rushing TD against them at home. That is defending your home turf. They kept Iowa out last night.

I only see two other teams with fewer rushing TDs against the defense.

PSU has surrendered only 5, still playing today could change

Iowa surrendered 3, one of them was Nebraska.

Is that or something to that effect, still posted in Memorial stadium? If so, it’s time to burn it down.

Why? Why do these players do it? I mean, it's one thing to lose a game. It's one thing to hate the other team. It's another to go out there like Barney Badass to a team who has owned us this past decade and then lose again because you're not smart players.

If we get Mills, Terry, and Mozee would that be the best WRs class ever signed by Nebraska. And how would your outlook on next year be if DH is retained with these WRs. I think we could be a top 30 offense.

The Iowa game was a perfect example of beating yourself cause your mentally weaker than your opponent and expect to lose.

Rhule should have gutted the program and exorcised the loser mentality that has been permitted to exist here ala Sander's style in Boulder.
Now we have a freshman QB doing the undone at multiple games' end this year. Granted he's a freshman, but still he hasn't had 1 game winning final drive this year. The Nebraska way has entered into his head. Should of cancelled the culture before he showed up here.

Despite that I'm stupid enough to have already booked my winter vacation to Nashville. I will be interested in how the young players mentally respond and move on from this debacle.

he was hired to be a gifted coach. Maybe the massive contract took away any sense of urgency for him, but he completely misread the mood of the fan base.

The Rhule era doesn’t feel on track at all. I don’t care about the Who Gives a Sh*t Bowl. 6 wins isn’t great, and what kills me is we left at least 3-4 other wins out there this season with poor coaching, particularly on offense and special teams.

Our defense overall was good; please retain our dc. Beyond that, everything needs to be under the microscope.

This was just another forgettable year by a program that hasn’t done anything memorable in decades.

1. Most Pivotal- Can they get IMPACT players out of the portal. They must get real weapons. No average starters or place fillers. Our portal players on offense are merely capable stand-ins who can't catch balls that aren't right on them. Can't waste Portal schollies on stand-ins. It's why we're 6-6

2. Relieve the right coaches of their duties. No reassignment. Satt, McGuire, Barthel, and Thomas need to be given nice recxomendations to their bosses in the MAC next year. Need guys who are going somewhere. Schemers and grinders who are dare I Say: "Gorilla Minded." Average coaches. Its why we're 6-6.

3. Honest and Accurate player evaluation. Gotta cut 50 guys. Most will move on their own. But Mason Wald is still secretly on this football team somewhere. Its ias much a science as it is an art. Player evaluation. Its why we're 6-6.'

Got a huge win over CU that went on to win 9 games and also stopped a 10 year skid to Wisconsin. As a bonus we kept it close vs Ohio State. Those are the highlights of the season they are better than recent years.

Stop tolerating bad snaps, dropped passes, missed open receivers. Remember when Mickey said the WRs would be catching 10,000 passes in the offseason? That’s what it takes.

I don’t care about coaches running the stairs or Oklahoma drills before kickoff. I care that we play with fundamentals and excellent technique.

Anything is possible as many of these players were also on that team😆🤣

I’m not sure many fans would care but now that FLA bowl is apparently out of reach I’d like to see them here in metro PHX.

Michigan vs Ohio State was always one of my favorite rivalry games, second to only Nebraska vs Oklahoma when I was young.

A cold turkey sandwich with a large glass of cold milk while watching The Game and everything feels right.

Take one for the team and opt out of the bowl game. That last missed block sums up Benhart's whole career. Gifford looks and plays lost each and every game. Time for the new blood to take over.

I remember when Nebraska would hold onto the ball, run it down the middle, score, chew up clock, move chains and have the defense on the sidelines getting beauty sleep.
all the while firmly in controll of the game and geting back ups playing time..

the last 2 decades of pass happy ball we seem to get up by the max of ten points (unless we are playing north west state school for the pasteries), then go 3 and out and have our defense playing uphill all game..
then every 4th quarter is a scramble to have a hope and prayer to stay in the game, ending in poor clock management and defeat...

When will we find out which bowl we are headed to? I’m a gluten for punishment, so I’ll be there regardless, but hoping it’s the MCB in Nashville. Short drive for me.
