We Beat Colorado and Wisconsin

i think Dylan set record for most completions in a season....we got to see more of our WRs, TEs, RBs then any other year in quite a while....lots to work on, atleast it wasn't centered around the QB getting dog piled like in previous years

Got a huge win over CU that went on to win 9 games and also stopped a 10 year skid to Wisconsin. As a bonus we kept it close vs Ohio State. Those are the highlights of the season they are better than recent years.
Well, I guess that’s progress. I remember some family members who are Iowa State fans that made similar comments like this several years back, so I guess that’s something to be moving in their direction.

It’s who we are anymore. I hung on far too long to the idea that we’d be really good again.

Kept it close vs Ohio State? :( Even Scott Frost kept it close vs. Oklahoma, Ohio State, and Michigan in the same season. It’s the same story every year. Sports are pain.

Remember back in the day ... free shoes university? Remember Auburn ( I think it was them, someone correct me) giving 250,000 to a QBs preacher dad ? Didn't Bush give back his Heisman Trophy ?
What I'm getting at, is it used to be the naked cheaters could stockpile talent because they had no shame. Certain schools cheated their way to glory and dared the NCAA to do something. Of course the only thing the NCAA ever did was ignore the cheating and then give SMU the death penalty to show how serious they were.
My point is the scotus legalized buying players. That used to be the sole province of the SEC and a few other schools.
NOW EVERY SCHOOL gets to wallow in filth. It levels the playing field. Look at Michigan (and Washington), from champion to chump in 12 months.
Huskers will be in the playoffs sooner rather than later.

Its mathematically impossible for any team to be in the playoffs later than sooner.
