1. Colorado's DBs were really solid IMO. In the second half, we tried to throw but there wasn't a ton of open receivers. I expect a lot more passing yards today.

2. We simply struggled to block. The blocked punt was the result of a huge whiff by the middle of the 3 guys that sit back in the formation. Benhart had some really bad misses.

This secret cabal must have had a secret meeting to end their campaign of hatred against us.

Starting up the pregame observations thread.

First observation made: the 1890 Nebraska logo that was on the field last week for the Colorado game was taken off for tonight's contest.

RBs have looked good, and it's a deep room, but Dowdell, and both Johnson's have looked good.

Seems like we didn't lose that much with Allen 7 for 30 as Miami's 4th string RB.

Shame we couldn't get Lacy, but it was a nice pivot to Dowdell. Wonder if we could have kept Lacy if it was this year.

2025 looks good with Parker from St Louis.
