Seriously…N needs to throw some serious NIL $ at a top shelf kicker…

Hell, travel the world to find one if need be. Many good ones have come out of Great Britain & Australia. I’ve never understood the lackadaisical attitude when recruiting kickers. One of the most important skill positions on the field. A Kicker inevitably becomes a teams leading scorer over the course of the year/career (providing he’s competent).

Shit kicking has already strongly contributed to our only loss…the way things look, wouldn’t be surprised if it contributed to one, or two more before seasons end.

What B1G games intrigue you against the spread

Current lines

Rutgers @ Nebraska (-7)
UCLA @ Penn St (-28.5)
Mich St @ Oregon (-24)
Purdon't @ Wisconsin (-13)
Iowa @ Ohio St (-20.5)
Indiana (-14) @ Northwestern
Michigan @ Washington (-3)
USC (-9) @ Minny

I think Michigan wins outright
I think Iowa covers (hope not)
I think Indiana covers
I think the spreads are difficult with UCLA/PSU and Oregon/Mich St. I can see both winning by 30 or both winning by 10
I wouldn't touch NU/Rutgers, USC/Minny, and Purdue/Wisconsin (never know how a team will respond to a coaching change)

That said:
NU 28-20
PSU 35-10
Oregon 38-17
Wisconsin 28-9
Ohio St 31-16
Indiana 41-17
Michigan 24-20
USC 31-21

Nebraska Face To Rutgers Saturday, Oct. 5

The last time Rutgers football quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis played at Nebraska, he led his team to a comeback victory

“They’re big,” Kaliakmanis said of Nebraska’s defense. “They do a lot to try and confuse the quarterback. They’re very good at holding their shells. They’re very athletic. They’ve got some veterans back, they’re disciplined and they’re ready to go.”
