USC fans are just as broken as we are..

ran into a guy here in SoCal who was wearing his USC hat, the cashier at the grocery store asked him if he was going to the game next weekend. He said, why?
They will just beat us anyways......

I started laughing thinking , holy hell they are just as broken as a fan base as we are.....

then I said, don't feel bad most of Nebraska fans think the same way especially if you stay within a score of us

Who Runs the Offense we Want?

I don't feel Satterfield has the right scheme for this league. Yeah we need more defensive speed, some playmakers at WR, and a dominant OL and RB group. But I am tired of scratching my head over why Satterfield called a play that kills momentum and can't generate consistent yards on the ground.
Who could NU hire that runs the type of balanced attack we need? We need to hire an OC that wins 4 quarter games.

What Do I Do?

I am open to suggestions for any ideas of what to do on this site until the USC game. I check this board 5-6 times a day to see what is going on with Husker FB -- to have some fun. There is not a lot of fun to be had right now. Other Husker sports can't fill the void enough (although I love, VB, BB, and wrestling). So, let me know if anything I can do.

I have not given up hope and optimism for this season to qualify for a bowl game. My sphere of influence on which coaches to fire at/before the end of the season is nil, so it doesn't give me great joy to join in those conversations. (I have thoughts about that, but who really cares what I think as my opinions mean squat).

Football Report: USC QB Jayden Maiava to start vs. Nebraska

Being reported that Lincoln Riley is shaking things up at QB and is expected to start Jayden Maiava over Miller Moss against Nebraska.

Maiava is a 6-4, 220-pound transfer from UNLV. He was the Mountain West Conference player of the year in 2023 as a redshirt freshman after completing 63.5% of his passes (224-of-353) for 3,085 yards and 17 TDs with 10 INTs.

Maiava, a third-year player, is more mobile than Moss and rushed for 277 yards and 3 TDs last season at UNLV.

Maiava saw backup snaps early in the season vs. Utah State. He went 8-of-11 for 66 yards and rushed for a 7-yard TD. He’s also rushed for 7 yards against Wisconsin and 13 yards against Rutgers.

Moss has thrown for 2,555 yards and 18 TDs this season, but also 9 INTs. He threw three INTs last weekend in a loss at Washington.
