Coach Rhule

I’m still all in for Matt Rhule as Nebraska Head Football Coach.

I was questioned about that yesterday. I’m disappointed with the 6 Win Season, but I can live with it.

The Staff he is assembling appears to be very strong. Seasoned and Proven. What happens to the Player Roster for the Bowl Game will be interesting.

But the Roster for next season is more than a little concerning as of right now. But my role is not. I’ll still Suit Up and Show Up.

Anyone getting mysterious “likes” from long ago posts?

So I used to be a member of the premium board on here. Haven’t been for maybe 2-3 years now.

Sort of got comfortable knowing that any real important stuff made it to the free board within an hour anyway.

So I just got a few notifications that a few of my more popular premium board posts just got a bunch of likes and laughing emojis.

When I saw the first one I thought “who the heck found that 4-5 year old post?!” Then it just happened with a second and third one from 5-7
Years ago.

So has Rivals employed bots to go find and like old posts from old Premium subscribers and like them so it would entice us to go resubscribe and see what people are saying or liking on those posts?

it seems a little “tin foil hat” I know. But why would I suddenly get random likes on posts that have been dormant for years?

Anyone else?

Daily Nebraska Trivia/Fact: December 16

I know THIS one!!!

“After Sunday’s win over Wisconsin in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament, how many Final Four appearances has the Nebraska volleyball program reached since 1982?”

=================================

Answer:

18, including 7 in the past 10 seasons.

18 is the second-most Final Four appearances all-time (Stanford, 23) and 7 Final Four berths leads the nation over the last 10 seasons.

(And, yes, I made this the daily trivia question purposely to poke fun at myself lol)

Scroller of the Year Award Ceremony

I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you for your votes of trust in making me your supreme poster of the year. Due to covid, we had to hold a private ceremony in Sean’s mansion but it was very lovely. I’ve attached a photo of the event below.

@SantaBarbaraSker supplied the entertainment and danced for everyone afterward but unfortunately photography was not allowed. Then @BBTown Bomber wrestled @Husker Hank but it only lasted 12 seconds before they both fell asleep.

But seriously, thank you. I love you all and it’s awesome that I didn’t even have to split the award like @lee_carvallo_12 did.

There are some shady things going on in the NFL.

Go and watch the Washington at New Orleans game and watch the second to last play of the game and watch the game clock stop for four seconds on a completed pass that was down at the two and then started again when it should’ve never stopped they lost four seconds and there was three seconds remaining when New Orleans spike the ball. Also, there was a blatantly missed pass interference. Call on Terry McLaurin, that nobody said a thing about there needs to be investigations done on these types of things.

Ashton Jeanty

CAR. 344 · YDS. 2,497 · TD. 29 · AVG. 7.3. and needs only 132 yards to break Barry Sanders single season rushing total of 2628 yards. That's impressive.

Jeanty still didn't break Rozier's NCAA record of 7.81 YPC (214-281) Carries on 273 Attempts. This record won't broken for A LONG time to come if ever. His career average was 7.3 YPC. Rozier rushed for 53 TD's in his career here

In 1988, Barry Sanders, a junior running back for Oklahoma State, averaged 7.6 yards per carry and a Career 6.8 YPC. Career Rushing TD's 48, 238.9 YPG. Barry Sanders is a legend but a 1 year wonder in college but had a legendary career in the NFL retireing at the top of his game. Had he stayed, he woulda broken the NFL rushing record the following year well before Emmitt Smith did.

1987 11 Games 105 Att 603 yards 5.7 YPC, 54.8 YPG
1986 8 Games 74 Att 325 Yards 4.4 YPC, 40.6 YPG
