OT - Omaha Accountant

I need some help. I was hoping someone on the board is a small business' accountant or knows of one that could help me. I know this is the busiest time of the year but I am having troubles reconciling my payroll taxes.

They probably don't need to be in Omaha but I am sure it would help resolve my issue faster. Any help I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Basketball B1G Tourney FINAL: Michigan State 67, Nebraska 64

We're under 30 minutes until Nebraska (16-13, 8-10) takes on Michigan State (15-13, 7-10) in the first round of the B1G Tournament this morning in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Today's game means a lot more as both teams are trying to keep its NCAA Tournament hopes alive with a win. Jury is still out whether or not Nebraska makes it in with a win today, but at the very least it would increase its chances. Entering today, the Huskers are at No. 41 in NET rankings after playing the toughest schedule in program history.

Both teams have won two straight entering Thursday's contest including a 33-point victory for Nebraska over No. 25 Illinois - the biggest victory in school history over an AP Top 25 opponent.

You can watch along on the Big Ten Network today at 11:30 a.m.

Recruiting Priority 2025 QB target to visit Nebraska March 21

Pennsylvania 2025 QB Stone Saunders just let me know that he will back in Lincoln for a spring practice visit. Saunders will be in Lincoln on March 21. This will be his second visit to Lincoln since Matt Rhule took over the program. He said that trip was amazing and the Huskers in are the mix for him. He completed 69 percent of his passes for 3,583 yards with 54 touchdowns and five interceptions in his sophomore season. Saunders was also the Gatorade Football Player of the Year for Pennsylvania last fall. He helped lead McDevitt to the 4A state title in Pennsylvania

Guys golf trip locations

What's your best recommendation/location for a golf trip for 10-12 guys?

We have been to Vegas for the last 2 years and it's great. Fly down Thursday and play that afternoon. Play Fri morning then pool then gamble. Play Saturday morning then pool then gamble. Fly home Sunday.

Best deal is you can book a room at Westgate and play the course (Las Vegas CC) for under $50. Crazy cheap. We book 2 rooms there and don't even stay there because it works out to be a $80 greens fee when you include the room and golf.

Looking to switch up the location next year.....

looking for hunting training please

i just posted this on another site and thought i'd throw it out here as well.

so, here's the deal. i am approaching middle age - 68yrs to be exact. Winking i've never hunted. well, one time with friends in college from Harvard (i was from Hastings) and they took me pheasant hunting. don't ask.

but other than that, no hunting in my world. my Dad didn't hunt. we played golf all the time. now fast forward a few years, like till now, and i have 25yr & 30yr old boys. they both have interest in hunting and learning properly. i'd like to make that happen.

i'm aware of online safety courses and would certainly exhaust those, but is anyone aware of 1:1 or 1:3 hunting training? deer/elk likely their interest.
years ago, there was a guy in eastern washington that would spend like 5 days with someone to teach them the ropes. i'd looked into it at that time but never made it happen. i probably went golfing instead back then.
just wondering if there are any options or advice anyone here might know of. my perception is hunters like bringing young new hunters to the sport. probably could care less about a guy my age but it would be something my boys would do for decades. guess i'm picturing sort of an emersion time. doesn't matter where really. i'd anticipate a fee involved and for the right teacher, i'd have no problem with that and would expect it.
again, tia for any thoughts.

San Diego losing badly to Irvine

Top of the 7th Irvine comes up leading 8-3
HBP
HBP
Bunt single loads the bases

Single thru the right side scores one. Still loaded, no outs 9-3
Sac fly, run scores. 1st n 2nd, one out 10-3
HBP reloads the bases.

Ground ball to 3rd (Batter gets 1st on FC). 3rd baseman tags the bag (runner from 2nd out)
Throw to home (batter on 3rd heading home on the hit). Catcher gets the ball, tags home plate, steps forward.
DP, inning over, right?
Nope. Runner scored after the plate tag. Two on, two outs 11-3 Irving.
Figured it out?

Oh yeah, after all that, 3 RBI homer and a fly out left ends the inning, 14-3 Irvine.

Prayers Needed...

My dad, 85 years old, went into the hospital two weeks ago. Things took a turn over the weekend and he's now on a ventilator getting dialysis. A few things going on, mostly his kidneys and lungs. Not ready to say goodbye yet and hoping against hope that he can recover from this. In the meantime, sitting with him every day and talking to him, even if he's sedated, it means the world to me.

OT: GOAT Movie or TV Athlete

I caught one of the Rocky movies the other day and tuned in for a while (as i always do) and it got me thinking that he has to be the greatest of all time movie athlete. I mean he's got Apollo Creed, Clubber Lang and Ivan Drago as pelts on his wall. 2 time heavyweight champion of the world and he's like 5'7 with his boots on. For me he's got to be the GOAT! Who do you have on your list?

There are many other's on my list but here are two more of my favorites:

Gerry Bertier: 2 time all-American. Hell of a leader. Career cut short due to injuries from car wreck. (unfair advantage since he actually existed tho)

Roy McAvoy aka "Tin Cup": Legendary striker of the golf ball. 59 at Cottonwood.
