It's kind of surprising to see Michigan State so low. Makes you wonder if they're riding the transfer train to better compete with Ohio State, Penn State, and Michigan?

Recruiting The latest predictions on recent Nebraska visitors

There is a lot happening right now with Nebraska recruiting with so many commitments from high school players and transfers. I've been asked in a bunch of threads about my predictions for various prospects so why not get them in one handy spot?

>> Nebraska hosted NC State ATH commit Kyron Jones for an official visit this weekend.

I do not see him sticking with NC State but I don't believe Nebraska is the pick either. I see Jones ending up at Georgia.

>> Another flip target that Nebraska hosted this weekend was Vincent Carroll-Jackson.

The Syracuse commit will announce his college choice on Wednesday at 2 p.m. central/3 p.m. eastern time. I am predicting that Nebraska pulls off the flip here for the raw but talented defensive lineman.

>> Nebraska also hosted late-rising Oklahoma linebacker Eric Fields on an official visit this weekend.

I love Nebraska's position with Fields right now. He and the Huskers are a perfect fit and I see him being 'N' soon.

>> I also still feel really good that Florida transfer DE/OLB Chief Borders will be N.

>> I also still feel really good that Malik Hornsby will still commit to Nebraska.

>> One last note on an official visitor from this weekend, I am predicting Gretna OL/DL Mason Goldman to be committed to Nebraska soon.

Spring roster (46 currently)

Pretty sure we had to get down to 39 (with 4 guys eligible for the Covid waiver). Does anybody have any definitive on who is moving on as a result? Right now the official roster still sits at 46:

In the future people will look back and wonder why did they get rid of Solich and Pelini????????

'He has a plan'...

Heard both Sims and Borders say that about Rhule and being one of the biggest reasons for transferring to Nebraska. I'm sure today's signees would probably say something similar. That's great to hear. Let Deion throw around the Louis bags loaded with cash. At the end of the day, IYAM, you want players that are substance over style and want to be part of something long-term. Rhule's building that. Today is a huge first step.

Zane Flores Recruitment Failure Confirmed

See article link below. In short, Frost and his clown show never showed interest, and it meant a lot when Oklahoma State did, so he remained loyal despite a late push by Matt Rhule.

I think Flores comes off looking good, by being loyal.

I think Rhule comes off looking good, by trying hard to fix a disaster he didn’t cause.

Frost? I think he comes off as an aloof dope, a pattern for him. The guy who famously blew off Joe Burrow misses again. His legacy is being a joke as a coach and recruiter. He never missed an opportunity to miss an opportunity.
