Zay Flowers

Projected to be a 1st rounder. Luckily, Nebraska cooled.

I just spoke with Fort Lauderdale, Florida receiver Zay Flowers and he said he spoke with the Nebraska coaches and they requested that he and his teammate, Rivals250 defensive back Joshua Sanguinetti, take their official visit to Lincoln on a different date than this weekend. He said that they both still intend to officially visit Nebraska when it can be arranged.

once NU cooled on zay flowers his teammate , they cooled on Josh it seemed like

103….

103 currently listed on the scholly chart. 18 to cull as of today.
This spring will remind us of the camp in “The Program”…

Name the 18…. I’ll start

Purdy, Smothers, and either Haarberg or Torres(3)
RB- Johnson or Ervin
WR- 3 of Hill, Hardy, Bonner, Jones
TE - one, not sure who
OL - one, not sure who
DE/LB/DL- 4 total, not sure which but Snodgrass has to go
DBs - 3 including at least Tyreke and NPG
St - Bleekrode . Can’t have 2 kicker last on scholly
1 misc from either OL, or TE, maybe RB

That look about right?

FWIW - What a Recruiting Haul ...

The BIG conference did well in recruiting some high school talent. Ohio State and Penn State each had 18 four stars. The Buckeyes also had a five star. Michigan had 10 four stars and Michigan State had nine. Nebraska had four. (This according to 24/7 rankings, other recruiting sites may have a different take.)

The big question, of course, is how many of them will actually stick around and be able to contribute down the road.
