Back is circling the drain, Lumbar & neck is all jacked up now. Looking at getting a good Office/Gaming chair as I spend a few hours a day in the chair I have now. I'm not a gamer, I just don't want to exclude this type of chair if there is something decent available. Anybody have back problems, where they bought a chair, that helps or at least doesn't aggravate their back after sitting in it for several hours? Was hoping to spend $4-500, but probably need to go higher.

I have this feeling that we at Nebraska have somehow lived this story, like over the past 5 years. The only difference is that our celebrity coach actually coached at the FBS level before coming here and inherited some decent players.

Prime inherits a team that went 1-10 in a weak conference, getting blown out in 10 of the games. Before Frost, Nebraska at least had 4 wins and 4 other games that were close in a stronger conference.

Prime has a really high hill to climb with far less coaching experience than Frost had. The honeymoon is in full swing, but I'm pretty confident that as we witnessed over the past 5 years, reality will slap the program in the face pretty fast.

My prayer is that MR can coach us up enough that we can be part of that.

It's a busy visit weekend but I thought I'd try something different with this one. Spoke with Kansas LB Michael Boganowski and his father to get both of their perspectives on the weekend. Boganowski is the number one player in Kansas and a prospect I think is destined to shoot up the rankings. Plus, his dad is from Omaha and graduated from Bellevue West. Hit the link...

"I think the future's bright. I think Coach Rhule and his staff is going to get Nebraska back in the limelight of college football. Competing for Big Ten championships and their facilities are going to be first class," the elder Boganowski said. "That's what I grew up with in Nebraska. I know a lot of people grew up with that in Nebraska. That's what they're hoping for. That's kind of what Nebraska expects. I think that's probably what my takeaways are. It's trending back in that direction."

Sorry, semi drunk rant. Just went and saw Dave Attell (not Chappelle) Been 10+ years since I've been to the Funny Bone in Omaha. Dave's show was great, this is why I went. Wasn't for the Food or the Booze! Anybody else run into this? A little bit of SALT & pepper would have gone a long ways. Apparently the cooks are Allergic to it. The people around us, all said the food had no flavor. I asked for salt and was told it wasn't available? I guess my first clue should have been, when I wasn't asked how I wanted my Burger cooked. I don't drink much, but that wasn't a Long Island Ice tea. It was a lonely island or something. Didn't even eat 1/2 of it, would have been happier with a Frozen Banquet meal.

Upsets everywhere.
Curse of the high seed.
Unusual teams still in at the end.
No one dominant team, lots of teams crowded together.

It reminds me so much of the 2007 football season when you had teams like Missouri and Kansas somehow dominating the landscape.

It's been one of the best March Madness ever.

Well, we're 22 games into the season. I see these things:

1. A deep, talented offense. Leading the Big 10 in average and slugging. Top three in OBP, runs scored, hits, and HRs. Anglim's return from injury should only help improve this.
2. A top-notch defense. First in the league in fielding percentage.
3. Two premium starters. Kaminska leads the conference in ERA. Olson is 11th. Both are top four in IP.
4. No dependable starters after the first two. A very shaky bullpen. This has contributed mightily to at least five losses and a tie.

This weekend went exactly how these things would predict. Solid starts and wins on Friday and Saturday. A Sunday slugfest that could go either way.

I think we're set up well for conference play. There shouldn't be a series we can't win. Midweek? We should handle the Dakota schools but might continue to struggle with the Omaha teams and K-State. I'll feel a lot better if someone can step up as a third starter and Perry and Bunz progress toward being their old selves.

I guess I missed it, but I guess he got released or maybe plea bargained the charges against him away? Just wondering, TIA.

Was out with some buddies last night and we ran into an ex girlfriend of one of ‘em. This gal punched him in the face a month after they broke up at a bar giving him two black eyes. 15ish years later it was still really awkward to run into her.

I have to believe you bunch of hooligans have some tales of running into the ex and I’d love to read ‘em bc I’m hungover. Entertain me!
