Griffin Wilde N?

Currently up here in Brookings, SD celebrating family Christmas. Caught wind that top Jackrabbit WR Griffin Wilde is potentially transferring to Nebraska. He has a girlfriend who is a current Cornhusker.

As a sophomore, the 6’2” Sioux Falls, SD native had over 1,100 yards and 12 TDs for the yellow and blue. Nebraska is not a sure thing as he obviously has other options he’s exploring but would be another big addition to the WR room. He has a no-contact clause so he already knows where he’s going.

How do you feel about X Posters like Wilson Dittman & TheInsider appearing to post inside info from Husker Sites claiming as their own?

I'm tired of these posers stealing information from pay sites like The Platinum Board, InsideNebraska, On3, 247..... and posting it on X acting like they are insiders to gain subscribers. HuskerJuan (Wilson Dittman) was the first one that popped up and he was a stain on the Husker program with his interactions with recruits and their parents. We were able to get him to close that handle but now he is back using his real name. If you call out any of these X Posters for stealing information, and in some cases almost word for word from a site, they block you. I got a DM from Dittman for insinuating that he was also TheInsider. He was pissed off. Ironic that TheInsider has pinned that he is not Dittman. If you see them posting any material taken from one of these sites please report the post. If they are reported enough their handles will hopefully be shut down. They are blocking people who call them out and limiting who can comment. We need to get rid of these fake Insider Husker posers who profit off of the employees and owners of the various Husker Payboards.

DOMED STADIUMS

Just came from Lambeau . Cold as hell & wish it was domed this time of year . Question for you - do you think our recruiting and play would be better if Memorial stadium was domed ? I do . Maybe one of you could call Warren B. & see what he thinks . I really think what an advantage it would give us , especially with warm-weather recruits . Just thinking out loud here (where it's really cold ! LOL

WAY OT: Joe Rogan and Wesley Huff

Intro Rant
===================================
I am far from a regular Rogan listener or fan. I think he's actually a phenomenal interviewer but I get annoyed when he talks authoritatively about things that are WAY out of his expertise. Overall though, watching clips here and there are generally entertaining and I have a high respect for his willingness to have guests of ALL walks of life. I've never bought into that "you have platform and a responsibility to only expouse _____ ideas".
===================================

That being said...

Joe's podcast had on Wesley Huff who is an Ancient Near Eastern manuscript expert and a critical Biblical apologist.

Wes is extremely intelligent and well educated. His background is diverse (born in the middle east spent a lot of his life outside the US) and he's very eloquent and the majority of the conversation is about textual history (both Biblical and non).

If that's the kind of thing that interests you, here's a short (3 hours) discussion between Joe and Wes:
The only background you need is another atheist youtuber named Billy Carson (a former guest of Rogan) was set to have a conversation with another podcaster who invited Wesley on to have the conversation in his place because he wasn't equipped to answer his questions.

Wesley then goes on to just tear apart all of Billy Carson's arguments against the veracity of the Bible and quoting books that Billy was saying spoke against it, etc. He tried to sue Wes and sent cease and desist letters, etc.

It blew up on YouTube and that's how Wesley got an invite to be on Rogan's show.

Anyway, I realize not many will watch a 3 hour podcast (I watched on 1.5x speed haha) but it's gripping...at least to this ANE history nerd.

What did Butler's Defense do in the Bowl Game that you are excited about next year?

Z6B_9507.jpg

I might have missed an IN breakdown or what the consensus was from the board. I love pressure and he seems to thrive on that and playing our DB's closer to the wide receivers than TW. Thought it was a really good game against BC. Looks to be even better if all the transfers and up n comers play to their potential.

Anyone else have thoughts after watching the game or what you are looking for this upcoming year?

Sports Cards. What is your best card and story?? And Do you Grade??? Need some serious advice.

Hello my Husker Board Friends!!!

Long story short. I am 49 years old, I have lived through the junk era .
Over years I have picked cards. We have owned a storage unit for 15 years. No Shit, half of that storage unit is cards I bought at garage sales over the years, pissed the wife off something fierce!! lol

Life happened. Kid, Wife, Job, and build a Home. Put It On Ice
Anyways we just finished up our edition.

Every Night since Feb I have been purging cards. (The Junk Era Crushes My Soul)

I cry every night....I have books and books of Mike Geenwell's, Jose Canseco, and Ken Griffey Jr's. That was going to be my retirement, lol. Not worth hardly anything now.

I have held on to everything.

Fast forward 15 years.

I AM PURGING. Need to clear the storage unit and half is my Star Wars and Baseball Cards.

I am going through my old cards and crying in my soul because I know my massive collection is worthless. It can be "Soul Breaking!!! I shit you not, LOL!!! Damn You Jose Canseco!!!

Now on to the garage sale bulk totes. Been going though since Feb....Eight totes.

NEVER LEAVE A STONE UNTURNED

I found in the commons.....

Michael Jordan 2001 Topps Chrome Black Refractor

GOOGLE IT

Wait for it.....#1 of 50. Yep.

I took it to the card show in Grand Island last weekend to test the response. You would have thought I was Taylor Swift walking into a room of 15 year old girls. Everybody at the show had to check it out. (Between us. It was the coolest moment of My Life)

I am not making this up guys. I have not slept two weeks. Kinda Freaking out. lol

It is in a safety despot box, now I need figure out how to get a card graded. Any advice would be awesome.

PSA for Grading??

Go Huskers!!

Basketball Nebraska collapses late in Iowa City, loses to hot-shooting Iowa in OT

Nebraska suffered a tough loss in overtime on the road Tuesday night in Iowa City. It was quite the collapse in the second half and overtime. The no-call double-dribble with seconds remaining didn't help, either.

"This is a hard one," Hoiberg told Huskers Radio Network after the game. "This is going to be a tough one for our guys, but you have to find a way to bounce back. That's what good teams do."
