PSA for Husker Fans

Go outside and have a drink or whatever makes you happy. The fighting about the QB situation on here is getting weird and unhealthy.

Frim the staunch defense of HH, throwing every other player under the bus but the QB… To the bumping of 4628620 HH fan posts, cussing at each other… Let’s all chill the fvck out.

Yes he played @ss. So did the rest of the team. I personally think HH should have been pulled, just like I think Sims should have been pulled after his 3 turnovers in the CO game.

But our QB situation is one of the worst in CFB, and no matter who starts we’re not going to find quality QB play this year.

We will likely lose again this year because of dogsh!t offense. Try to enjoy the big plays and wins when they come my friends. This is a rebuild. It ain’t gonna be pretty in year 1. We’re making progress. Onto Maryland. GBR!

Recruiting UPDATE: Carlon Jones offered by Ohio State, will take November visit

Buckeyes drop an offer for Carlon Jones. Get used to this type of stuff with Nebraska commits under Rhule.

UPDATE: Jones just told me that he will take a visit to Columbus on Nov. 11 for their game with Michigan State. I asked him if he is still stolid with Nebraska and coach Knighton.

"For sure," Jones said. "I just think it wouldn’t be smart to not take advantage of the opportunities that are given to me. I want to go see what they have to offer."

Knighton does know about the visit and Jones will be speaking with Rhule about it soon.

Ugly Loss: B10 West Still There for the Taking

No way to sugar coat that loss. That one was really ugly.

Michigan State is a bad football team, without a real coach, a terrible QB, and ready to roll over for anybody.

Obviously we aren't good enough to lose the turnover battle 3-0, and win on the road. Held them to 63 yards rushing, had zero penalties...., and lost.

Gotta get something figured out on offense. B10 West is a disaster, but we have to be able to move the ball at least a little bit and score a few points to win games.

Still control our own destiny to win the West. Starts with beating Maryland at home next Saturday.

WR Coaching

Doogie Howser needs to teach his receivers to sell PI when it happens. Our guys just get up and trot back to the offensive side of the field. Coleman should have been exasperated on the no call that he got mugged on.

By the way did I mention the refs missed three big calls. The no call PI with Coleman, the missed face mask and the MSU TD. That catch doesn’t happen unless the ground aids the WR. He didn’t have his hand under the ball as defined in the rules.
