Basketball Nebraska shows resilience, defends home court against Michigan State

Yes, Michigan State is trying to find itself this season. But Sunday night's victory over Tom Izzo's Spartans was a big one.

Farewell friends...

I joined this site in October of 2002 and up until the last year or so it was always a great place to be. There are scores of really awesome members, and though we didn't always agree, we engaged in vigorous debate and walked away with mutual respect "generally" intact.
The new leadership on the board has ostensibly pushed me away. While my typical response to such things is to push back and fight, I find there are better options for me elsewhere.
I know several of you will respond to this with snarkey comments and good riddance and that's cool. But I know some will take it seriously and those are the posters I will miss... so with all of that said farewell both friends and foes.... and ALWAYS GO BIG BIG RED.

2013 Iron Bowl Kick Six

Just to change the subject, it's the 10th anniversary of that game tomorrow. Not a fan of either team but it's one of those game moments that you remember where you were and what you were doing when you saw it.
I remember watching it with my family at the Rock Bottom. Everyone in the restaurant was watching intently when the Alabama kick fell short and the entire place got excited and cheered watching Auburn win on the return.
