Tennessee Vols adding 10% NIL tax on season tickets

The Tennessee Vols are adding a 10% tax on season tickets to go straight to NIL payment for players next year. Do you all think Nebraska should follow suit? I am thinking it is a must. Tennessee has 15,000 people on the waiting list, so I am sure they will not have any ticket that go unpurchased. Does anybody know if Nebraska has a waiting list for them?

It's nice being relevant

2nd most important game in the conference this week, 4th most important in the country.

One of the first stories on all the CFB shows, so much nicer than just being an extra pick at the end of the show.

I've missed being ranked and a team that will be discussed more frequently. I hope that we remain ranked for the rest of the Rhule era. Hopefully Indiana can keep playing good and make that a big game as well, shoot even Rutgers. Be nice to have a couple more ranked teams to beat.

Recruiting 2026 Rivals250 WR planning Nebraska visit in Nov.

This is a good month and a half away, but wanted to get it on your radars. 2026 Morton (Miss.) four-star WR Xavier McDonald is planning to visit Nebraska Nov. 2 for the UCLA game.

The Rivals250 prospect was offered by Nebraska over the summer and this will be his first visit to Lincoln, as the Huskers are working to build in-roads in Mississippi. McDonald is high on Auburn, Florida State, LSU and Miami in addition to Nebraska. He's rated as a top-100 consensus prospect, as high as top-50 per another service. He's been impressed with what he's seen from Nebraska early on this season.

Have a game Shohei Ohtani

Quite a baseball game here this afternoon. Ohtani went 6 for 6 with 3 home runs, 2 doubles, and a single. TEN runs driven in and one stolen base. Of course the Miami Marlin baseball team is triple A at best. Jazz Cisholm and Jon Berti to the Yankees. Luis Arreaz who will win his 3rd consecutive batting title and Tanner Scott with his low, low earned run average to the Padres.
Now Ohtani is in the exclusive 50-50 club. Sorry if I misspelled any names.

..in all seriousness, it's go time on my home restoration and I have a ? from those of you in the construct or restoration biz plz

..like title says...fast forward 4+ months to now, from when my neighbor used my home for a neighborhood bonfire, the major reconstruct is completed and painters set to roll in...and i have a ? about the best primer to use on walls and floors and ceilings, that were not replaced....no offense, not looking for opinions, but cold hard experience with this, if anyone has any? my general contractor has been great about letting me kinda run the show and pick materials and sublet vendors and he asked if i have a preference on the primer they are going to use to seal the walls, floors, and ceiling. obviously cost is no object on this part and i am wondering if anyone has used something in the past that worked great for them? if so, what did ya'll use to seal in the smoke smell and would you use it again?

Steve Pederson's vision?

With Dylan Raiola and Matt Rhule are we now living what Pederson's vision was for our football team? He clearly failed for various reasons to implement it but I can't help but think this is where he wanted to take us. I'm not hearing the "we have to run the option" guys much lately. Rhule has virtually all of the talking heads talking about us and we're recruiting nationally at a very high level. Rhule's communication skills and roster management are outstanding but landing Raiola was probably the single most significant event in the post Solich era other than maybe Callahan landing Suh. Suh elevated the whole team much like IMO Raiola has. Would Rhule be getting as much love now IF we were still struggling at QB this season? I think not.
