Just a ho hum day…
6 for 6, 3 HR 10 RBI and first 50/50 player ever
Not bad for a pitcher

Greatest player of all time. No question. Not to mention 2 SBs
He is insane
I think with his versatility he is without a doubt in the conversation.Greatest player of all time. No question.
Who did they play, the little league World Series champs?
MarlinsWho did they play, the little league World Series champs?
Wait, they wouldn’t give up that stat line.
The White Sox?
The combination of skills is something that nobody has ever seen before in any sport. It would be like having a QB that was also a DT and a WR and was elite at all three. Ohtani is not only a generational talent but a once in a LONG lifetime player. If he quit today he'd still deserve the HOF.I think with his versatility he is without a doubt in the conversation.
Josh Gibson
Babe Ruth
Ted Williams
All have a good argument
Yep… my attempt at a joke didn’t land. That’s on me.Marlins
He didn't want to be there. Can you blame him? They didn't sniff the playoffs a single time while he was there, and it sure wasn't his fault. If you are the Angels, how could you let a talent like him go? I get it that they didn't win with him, so it saved them alot of money letting him go, and they probably feel like they got burned with the Mike Trout contract, but just sell the team if you can't build a winner around that guy. Jeez.
Not disagreeing with much you said, but the Marlins didn't develop Arraez. Unfortunately it's the way baseball works. Small market teams have to draft and develop players, and if they want to keep a guy long term they have to get them to sign an extension early. The Twins probably didn't think Arraez was the kind of guy you lock up to a big contract.Home run # 51 was off a position player. Florida Marlins are famous for developing players and then letting them go to free agency.
Giancarlo Stanton and Jazz Chisholm to Yankees.
Luis Arreaz and Tanner Scott to Padres.
Two to the Braves, both home run hitters.
Only 2 or 3 pitchers that were on the roster after spring training are there now. The rest are injured.
Marlin ownership doesn't care if they win. They just want the divided baseball money. Jeter took off as soon as he saw the problem.
The manager opted out early in the season for next season.
Triple A club at best.
However, every game I attended this year the Marlins one!
I missed yesterday's game.
Pleased with the Royals brain trust and how they’ve embraced their place in the worldNot disagreeing with much you said, but the Marlins didn't develop Arraez. I certainly can't blame him. I'm questioning the Angel organization's ineptitude that prompted a generational talent to want to leave. Living in Colorado and watching the Rockies' 3 decades of ineptitude I should be well aware teams are capable of that.He didn't want to be there. Can you blame him? Maybe they were brainwashed into thinking Ohtani would be ok with sucking by Trout's willingness to play in anonymity forever? Speaking of generational talent, they've wasted their window with TWO of them! I guess they spent money at times, no guarantee that it works out.I certainly can't blame him.
