Willis McGahee IV

I love watching this dude play. He doesnt get a lot of snaps, but when he does, he is always wreaking havoc. He's very twitchy and bendy for a guy that's only 6'1", and it seems OTs have a hard time getting their hands on him because there isn't a lot of surface area. Not sure if he's played in more than 4 games or RS-ing, but can't wait to see him develop.

The Miami dudes like Barney, Shavers, and McGahee are difference-makers. We need more.

Volleyball Nebraska Volleyball announces two schedule changes + Andi Jackson named B1G Defensive Player of the Week

Nebraska VB schedule changes:
The Nebraska volleyball program has announced two start time changes for matches in November.

The Huskers' Nov. 9 road match at Washington will begin at 9:30 p.m. (CT) on Big Ten Network, the conference announced on Monday.

Also, Nebraska's Nov. 23 home match against Wisconsin at the Bob Devaney Sports Center will begin at 7 p.m. instead of the originally scheduled time of 8 p.m. That match will also be televised on the Big Ten Network.

Andi Jackson earns DPOTW:

Nebraska sophomore middle blocker Andi Jackson was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in her career on Monday.

Jackson put up 1.57 blocks per set in the Huskers' wins over Illinois and Michigan over the weekend, while also contributing 3.00 kills per set on .417 hitting to continue to lead the nation in hitting percentage (.472).

In a sweep of Illinois on Friday, Jackson had six blocks to go with 11 kills on .667 hitting. In a 3-1 win against Michigan on Saturday, Jackson finished with five blocks and 10 kills

  • Tallied 21 kills, her second career 20+ kill match, in a five set reverse sweep against Ohio State

  • She followed that with a new career high of seven kills while adding 43 assists, 16 digs, one block, and one ace in a four-set win over the nationally-ranked Trojans
  • Starck has now recorded double-doubles in four of the past five matches

Up next for Nebraska is a home game against UCLA (2-5, 1-4) on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The Bruins had lost five straight to Indiana, LSU, Oregon, Penn State and Minnesota before snapping their losing streak in Piscataway with a 35-32 win at Rutgers two weekends ago. This weekend they enjoyed a bye and will come to Lincoln with an extra week to prepare.

Malachi Coleman

Curious to see how much Coleman starts playing after the UCLA game. Really hope he has been developing on the scout team this year and can give the WR group a boost our last 4 games (including bowl game). I may be wrong, but I seem to remember him being a solid blocker on the perimeter last year...

- Completed 26-of-33 passes for season highs of 320 yards and four touchdowns, leading the Gophers to a 48-23 win against Maryland

- He's the first Gopher with four passing touchdowns in a game since Tanner Morgan had four at Northwestern on Nov. 23, 2019
