dingle, you always amuse me through the years. At least you always have time to hang out here. Gives you something to do.. Will we win next week? Do you feel we will we will ride the strong performance we had today? Although disappointed but…what direction we going.

Satterfield good god

Satt had Spencer Rattler (yes an obnoxious guy) but an NFL talent and squandered him. Why let him mess with a once in a lifetime QB? And wouldn’t a competent innovative OC chomp at the bit to come to Lincoln, work with Dylan and raise his profile?
Good point about Rattler.

I don't see a reason to retain Satt if there's a risk of losing Raiola.

We gave up 285 yards and still lost

Man I get so tired of people talking about "use HH use HH". We already know what he is. He's a big strong kid with good straightline speed. That's about it. So unless you are gonna design a play that utilizes THAT particular skill set I'm not sure what fans are talking about. He can't read blocks, has little to no lateral movement, can't make you miss yet Husker fans (one in general) talk about him like he's some unicorn who will change life if he just gets a chance.

Good kid, great teammate and solid athlete. But definitely not the difference maker that some fans act as if he is.

Holla
One play just once I would like to see is HH in a no pressure situation at Qb is an outside zone read action play action pass deep ball. Right now everybody expects a QB run when he's in the game. He does have a strong arm. Let him air it out to just once to Lloyd and see what happens.

I know this sounds like a conspiracy theory, but...

I’m not really defending the current refs because many of them suck, but for those of you saying it’s worse than it’s ever been- no it’s not. There have always been unbelievably shitty calls that have changed the outcome. Just 2 name a few NU related.
1. Penn State catch out of bounds probably cost us an MNC
2. Phantom block in the back call on Corey Dixon punt return against FSU
3. Eric Crouch face mask against KSU
Or, how about other teams games like the Oregon/Oklahoma on sides kick a few years back.
My point being (if i have a point) is that reffing is very difficult and at least with replay, they usually get the change of possession calls correct. Remember John Ruud destroying that OU guy on the kickoff return that was called down.
It’s just that before replay, you had to accept the bad calls and move on. So overall I think it’s better than the good ole days but still frustrating as hell when it doesn’t go your team’s way.
I agree with your general point and don't mean to nitpick, but Kelly Phelps had stepped out of bounds fielding the kickoff. The ref was blowing the play dead but nobody heard the whistle because it was so loud (my gosh, what a fun day). The play was already blown dead before Phelps was blown up. But still my all-time favorite Husker hit. John Ruud was one scary young man
