Temple, Baylor and Carolina Panthers. There's your context. What kind of context do you want on 81 losses in 149 tries? You realize that’s bad right? Like really really bad. You want me to say “well he had two good years in there and then bolted after the good seasons? He preaches sustainability, please show me where he’s had a success that he sustained?
You're right, two seasons. First year the offense was terrible and the second year their coach had to shut down rumors that he'd removed playcalling duties from Satterfield.
As I've said before, us Husker fans are stuck in a long time dysfunctional marriage to this program.I am open to suggestions for any ideas of what to do on this site until the USC game. I check this board 5-6 times a day to see what is going on with Husker FB -- to have some fun. There is not a lot of fun to be had right now. Other Husker sports can't fill the void enough (although I love, VB, BB, and wrestling). So, let me know if anything I can do.
I have not given up hope and optimism for this season to qualify for a bowl game. My sphere of influence on which coaches to fire at/before the end of the season is nil, so it doesn't give me great joy to join in those conversations. (I have thoughts about that, but who really cares what I think as my opinions mean squat).
This season is lost because the upperclassmen haven’t been able to do $hit.
If we’re going to lose anyways, put in the younger players instead and get them some in game experience. Put the under-performers on the bench!
okLet him play against Iowa when we are down 42-3 in the 3rd quarter.
Firing football coaches vs. poor performing employees are two completely different things. 99% of employees don't have a 5-7 year buyout worth millions and millions of of dollars. You have a bad employee you might give them a little severance and tell em to hit the road. It's an apples vs. orange comparison/false equivalent.Depended on their activities. If they were doing all the right things (marketing, making the calls, networking, running appointments, putting in the extra time efficiently, etc), but the results just weren't showing yet, I knew it would be just a matter of time before results would start rolling in.
Sometimes it was out of their control (really tough market), but if I felt their day-to-day / week-to-week work was where it needed to be, then I knew their results would eventually come to fruition. And once things started to fall in place, man they were crushing it.
Congrats on the new gig!I just started a new job. Decided to treat myself. I had been wanting to get some Petty on vinyl. It's a good weekend!
