The season is over in 24 days without a win. Kind of a strange quote."an improvement game by game till the seasons over then make the announcement"
"He’ll work with the offensive staff in a role that will evolve as the season goes on"
many a time in life, one has to read between lines and see the writing on the wall.
it's very likely we'll have an opening.lol ok, bud. Hey maybe Fickell will be fired in a couple years and we can grab him for you! 🤡
I don't think it works anywhere but the NFL. In rare cases it sort of worked in the Big 12 and in prior decades the SEC. The SEC went run-first in the 2000s and even the Fun n Gun of Spurrier relied on a decent run game. Oklahoma and Texas Tech had some success trying to be pass-first, but OU was vastly better with guys like Adrian Peterson being dominant rushing threats. In the Pac 10, USC was dominant only when it had Bush and Lendale White tearing defenses apart on the ground. Chip Kelly's Oregon offense was primarily a running attack.has very little to do with the league
we tried to be pass-first in the Big 12 and got boat raced there, too
it will never work here. ever.
lol ok, bud. Hey maybe Fickell will be fired in a couple years and we can grab him for you! 🤡we play wisc and iowa still
I fully expect to get beaten by both, likely handily by our neighbors to the east
your "arguments" are baseless rantings of a butthurt broken shell of a little boy
this is not what people wanted.Rhule here is definitely doing something to get the ball rolling on off-season changes. This is what the people wanted. This can only be viewed as positive news given the situation.
look for him to get more opportunities with Hop on the other side taking some of the heat off.
His AD and boosters of substance are fed up with his OC’s offense. Changes are coming. They have to be.Here's my fantasy: What would be the upside for Rhule announcing any changes right now? None, but I'm half convinced that Rhule is really fed up with this offense. I'm hoping that there will be an actual change to the play calling hierarchy which will result in a concerted effort to establish the run against these lightweights.
Also we're on the road so our mentally fragile team doesn't have to deal with the unbearable weight of playing in front of the too-demanding home crowd.
Saturday tradition B1G power rankings to start the season has Hoiskers 13th..I see one dude picked us 16th in the B1G. Now that is seriously terrible if it happens. 16th! Who knew that was even possible.
Why not? We suck. You can’t change your offense in 2 weeks. Hopefully he can help in game planning but I’ll be surprised if we see any immediate impact. It could actually initially cause problems😕
when somebody turns down a job, they're making a decision not to work for the person trying to hire them. You characterize it any way you want. You clearly have an agenda.
And the home crowd at USC is about as passive as a crowd can get. If they even bother driving to the stadium. Which I don't blame them for not doing. LA traffic sucks. Here's my fantasy: What would be the upside for Rhule announcing any changes right now? None, but I'm half convinced that Rhule is really fed up with this offense. Yeah he's a UNLV transfer. Moss was actually the guy that was expected to be a Heisman finalist and potential first round pick. He isn't bad. he just isn't very mobile and I think Riley knows that's one thing our defense excels against. He’s no
He’s not a first time starter though.
we play wisc and iowa stillAnother non-answer, zero substance post. Color me shocked!
now we have 3 OCs!Yeah. I’d be more excited if he was named coordinator
