Yes there were several the past few weeks. No one is actually literally calling for a Rhule firing because we know Neb can’t afford it yet. Staff needs to go though because Rhule is a shit coach and only is as good as his assistants (see Bobby Bowden)
I literally have seen our current staff outcoach the other side in one half of one game (Colorado 1st half) in nearly two years now.
That said, the dumbass universities like us better realize, shorter HC contracts are the way to go. If a coach won’t do it, then you know he’s a sack of shit.
If he knows he will win big, he will sign a short deal with automatic extension triggers written in
While that would be a simpler way to do it, I was under the impression that Title IX would require equal pay for women's sports so, for e.g., the rifle team members would have to receive the same pay as the football players. I could be wrong though (and frequently am). It’s not NIL that schools need to be worried about budgeting for, rather it’s for paying players that will probably be coming soon. I think direct pay will be the way forward.
The grad assistant is still on staff.I still believe coach Rhule can get the team turned around now my percentage of him doing it is lower, just hope he decides to part ways with satt heck the grad assistant did a better job with the tight ends last year than what he’s doing this year let alone being the oc
I question if that number is statistically significant but my kid already has a filter that supposedly filters out fluoride and other chemicals for my grandkids.OT: here, but...I joined a thread on this site, July 23, 2023 called "Would you eat meat from..." And I introduced the subject of fluoride. In real research, it has been known and proven to lower children's IQ's between 2 and 5 points, which is huge.
In a recent Federal Court Case, Water Watch, Inc. v. EPA, it was proven to be true. With the new Administration coming in, do not be surprised if all the municipalities water supplies are ordered to be de-fluoridated by RFK, Jr.
Since that court case, the FDA. NIH, CDC and HHS have all backtracked on what they have maintained for decades.
Again, I'm not telling anyone what to do, but, with RFK, Jr in charge of Health, and its been proven to harm children, he will make it go away or severly impact those that wish to continue.
Great, now I’m thinking of Harambe and I’m even more sad. What is our current record when we're sitting at 5 wins, like 0-7? We don't have a monkey on our back, we have a full grown gorilla.
They threw us a bone early with Holgerson coming on. Now we can talk all offseason about how he’ll resurrect the program with the Air Raid. The headlines will read “Bringing Back the Option Through the Air”.
At least he’s upfront about doing away with grandfathered seats in Memorial.Sounds smarter than dumb Trev
I mean, he borrowed it from friends and family if the story is correct.Borrowing implies he may not have had a huge nest egg. He wasn’t gifted money to start his business from his pappy (is my understanding).
Most businesses start with some level of debt and likely his was no different.
Great question, sounds like a Title IX nightmare. My question from that article, is that shared with all sports or just football? If it's all sports, and NIL is banned, how is that allocation determined? Do we return of the days of the "clandestine bagmen"?
Can universities supplement that model with something that smells like NIL or set a higher budget?

According to our AD, OSU and Oregon have a $25 mil and $20 mil NIL budget, while Nebraska’s is than $10 mil.
