I think we finally have a head coach who can be an effective manager of the program. Yeah maybe he isn't the greatest clock management guy, but like it or not, that's a small part of running a program like NU. He's hired Dana and he's turned over the keys to him. He's proven he's willing to make tough staff decisions. If this doesn't work, I'm not sure anything ever will. Frost was such a huge disappointment. Clearly he was the only choice acceptable for NU fans. The timing was perfect. The fit seemed perfect. Damn.
LOL, no.College football is dead
In 2 years here we’ve been forced to fire at least one coach weeks prior to the season starting 100% of the time due to off-field transgressions.I think we finally have a head coach who can be an effective manager of the program. > Be up 14-10 at half against WisconsinWill be interesting to see how we botch this layup of an opportunity against Wisco and iowa…
Ty has been very consistent this year. Teams have to game plan around him. Nash has been injured. His single digits might have worked at other schools, but here it looks like it’s backfired. Except for Ty and he’s been inconsistent, it has been a bust time to do away with that
Scouts are going to hear about his injury and how he tried to play through it. Yeah no doubt it hurt him but somebody is going to look at his measurables and take a shot on him.Hill's play over the past few games are putting him into undrafted status. Fortunately for him, he'll have a chance to put up great numbers at the combine. There's always somebody that will see the Colorado tape and decide that they can do something with him-- a Jacksonville or Raiders come to mind. If he gropes someone maybe the Browns will show some interest.

Damn.People don’t like to hear it..but 20 years of terrible football really only has one common denominator. Us. Are we the sole problem? Of course not. But the fish bowl pressure cooker that is Nebraska football doesn’t seem to be helping coaches and players excel.
I believe that all of our walk ons have received the cost of attendance for the past year. That's nothing to sneeze at regardless of what the final rules are on this roster reduction. It sounds like there's some things that still have to be worked out and I suspect lots of schools are going to express concern about this. 105 guys is still a large number of guys but what is going to be more important than ever is finding mature P5 ready transfers to fill roster holes. Then how many QBs and centers for instance do you carry on your roster. We've seen teams go through 5 QBs due to injuries this year. There's not going to be as much room at programs like NU for projects. In some ways, it's going to make things easier for our staff and we might not need as many assistants as we have right now. Other than the feel good stories of the local kids walking on, this shouldn't really affect NU all that much in the long run. That new locker room is going to seem awfully empty next year.Dude. I get what your saying, But its pretty clear that "Morally wrong" doesn't matter in the US anymore.

But the fish bowl pressure cooker that is Nebraska football doesn’t seem to be helping coaches and players excel. You would think that some would have learned by now that attacking our program and its coaches with vitriol and hate gets us nowhere. How many coaches do we have to go through before we get if figured out?
This fan base is as much of the problem as anything. We need to just get the F out of the way. Im just as frustrated and disgusted as anyone but all of this crap is an issue in itself.
If you don't like it don't watch it.
Rhule wasted two years here by hiring below average to bad offensive and special teams assistants and failing to plug holes in the defense through the portal. Whether he fixes those mistakes next year is yet to be seen. You only make one aspect of my point stronger. Namely, that if Hill is not really a good player and he has cost us points why in the hell is he playing at all? Are his backups really that awful? If they are then why? How many defensive backs are on our roster? 132? And not one of the them is worth a shit? That too is on the coaches for not recruiting better. Rhule made this situation what it is and now he is throwing shade at Hill to deflect blame.
