Who should be fired

And yet further schools, they didn't miss a beat . How do you explain that?

Jim Harbaugh runs a developmental football program, but because of his NFL background and Blue Blood history, with Michigan, they don't point to it.

They are a defense first, developmental program. San Diego, Stanford and now Michigan. He takes some key developmental type recruits at Michigan. WR Oliver Martin is a crude example.

James Franklin had a new OC and other new coaches in 2020 and no spring. Loss against Indiana, then Ohio State game was perfect storm. At 1-1, they may have weathered it better. Transition year, too much media hype, despite key losses after 2019. Injuries haven't helped.

Nebraska hasn't been good for a while. One good season under Mike Riley, reaching 9 wins.

Disruption in 20/20 hasn't been good for Scott Frost and his staff. Lack of experience to draw on. Seems to live in 1997, as a player. He is a head coach now.

This isn't Dr. Tom Osborne Lincoln, that Frost left UCF for.

And yet Mack Brown's NC has hardly missed a beat in year 2 in Covid mania...

Turned that program around, no excuses.

In the Big Ten, it is 20/20, keep them all. No Spring Drills hurt Michigan, Nebraska and Penn State.

20/20 gives Big Ten coaches passes.

But it didn’t hurt other teams? Just stop.

Frost doesn’t get a pass for another dismal season. Quite the opposite. He is starting to lose the fanbase. It’s all downhill from there.

I guess if we haaaad to pick a season to suck, this would be it. COVID makes everything a mess, asterisks, etc.

But even so, this years was our opportunity to at least start putting things together. Playing hard, reducing mistakes, solidifying the culture, and prepping for a serious campaign in 2021.

We're nowhere near this. Instead, we're backsliding. That all lands on SF and the coaches.

He isn't coaching in the Big Ten. He couldn't do it anymore in Texas.

He does have a fantastic QB apparently. However, unlike the B1G West with Wisconsin, Northwestern, Iowa and even Lovie Smith, who coaches defense .... is defense a major focus in ACC?

Apples to oranges, from my vantage point.

And, one team that does play defense, down the road in Big Ten country ....

Yet most other teams are playing hard. And we're still stuck using any excuse we can think of for why we suck. Covid has nothing to do with this mess.

Back to the OP, here's who I'd start with. Austin, Verduzco, TE coach, strength coach, and Chinander. None of these coaches have done a damn thing since they've been here. If we brought in a good DC, I doubt he'd want to keep Dawson or Tuioti around so they would be gone too. Even if we want to keep Frost around a couple more years, this program needs a reset and the more worthless assistants we get rid of, the better.

This is all on Frost. It's year three if you need to make some changes he should have made him by now. Now it's his responsibility because everything's his responsibility. The only thing that matters is winning and he's not doing much of it. Year 3.

You want him to keep around AAC level assistants just to prove a point? If this is all Frost's fault, just fire him now. If you want to give him another chance, we need to get rid of this crappy UCF staff that are in over their heads and get ourselves a real staff capable of competing in the Big 10.

Excuses, both Illinois and Northwestern missed time this year because of their state shutdown yet both teams curb stomped us. Rutgers missed a lot of time as well. Everyone has been affected by Covid, some have carried on and made the most of it while others like us have jerked around growing mustaches and making the good life videos.

Nebraska football. Honestly, it's not for everyone. Like winners.
