This is not a great USC team. There is no way the Huskers should be intimidated playing this year's Trojans. I know Nebraska has not been good either, but I believe this is a really good chance to get a win if they play with passion and pride. That is a big "IF". I wish the Iowa game was in Lincoln this year. Same old Iowa team. Kirk playing it close to the vest. Just an ok quarterback who can make 2 or 3 good passes. Rely on their big halfback who UCLA held in check. Everyone here says, "Iowa Sucks". I think they are in the collective heads of the players, coaches, fans and state.

Iowa has played very well at home in Big Ten games this season. They should beat the crap out of us like they did Wisconsin and Washington.

Have a bad feeling this will be one of those games where we score 21-24 points but the defense gives up 35-42.

I hope I'm wrong but I could see us let the new USC QB run for a couple TDs then it'll be "well we didn't know what to expect from him" at the press conference afterwards....smh

This is the classic Nebraska mentality. The fans and the team all seem to share it. Just expect to lose, but if you actually win, its just an anomaly. Its a negativity that has been hanging over the team and fans since the Callahan era. Its like the whole damn state and team are a bunch of Jerry's from Rick and Morty.

That being said. I still believe Iowa and USC both beat us.
