Under the 4 team format, Ohio State wouldn't have qualified

I think attendance is going to suffer to some degree especially in the quarter final games. How can the average fan justify going to a first round game at home, then a quarter final game in Pasadena, then a semi final game in New Orleans, and then a championship game in Phoenix. If you have to pick one, I guess you try to go to the home game of you’re a host? I have no idea
As I said during the playoff, all games should be on college campuses except the natty game, which should rotate.

I know that makes it just like the NFL, but CFB sold out a long time ago. May as well just fully embrace the NFL lite title.

No, it's not. Oregon proved they were the best by going undefeated, winning the Big 10, and beating OSU during the regular season. Oregon was more deserving of playing for the national title than any other team this year.

The expanded playoff only showed us that the team that "gels" at the end, and stays the most healthy, has the best shot at winning the "title".

I don't like it. It's doing exactly what many feared, which is diminishing the importance of the regular season. No 2-loss team should EVER have a shot at the title.

This might be one of the dumber posts I’ve read in awhile

Really? That post is far from one of the dumbest on here. What's dumb about it?

Anyone who's thinking objectively has to admit that a playoff does exactly what he's saying. Impossible to argue otherwise. That said, I also understand that many people are fine with that and prefer having a playoff to not having a playoff, despite it deemphasizing the regular season.
