It means he doesn't trust them, which means he did a bad job raising them. At least that is how I see it.

You don't see the greater good in donating to the less fortunate and the money actually being used to better tens of thousands of people's lives, versus packing some 65 y/o bank account where it will grow mold and just sit there? I have a general rule - I don’t judge people on how they choose to spend the money they have earned through their own hard work, talents and risk-taking.

Look, when you die, if you have kids, just make sure you don't leave them everything! Even if they are in their 70's when you die, you gotta keep pushing, they gotta carve out their own life.

I get what you are saying about them not being teens, as its a good point. I guess if I were in his shoes, and my kids are 1%ers already due to my wealth, I'd give them some and donate the rest to the causes of my choice.

As I said in my posts he has literally set them up in life they don’t need it . They all have foundations they run and profit themselves from . And he’ll leave the majority or all to those foundations and they will continue to profit themselves.
I think a good chunk of his money will go to foundations with progressive political motives from what I’ve read.

Here is the best answer I can give and then I am done. You say leave it to them they can decide what to do with it . At their age likely to give to charity. So why don’t you just avoid the middle man. ( inheritance tax) theywould have to pay . And let him give to charities that his kids are benefiting from . And as I said he has given to them through out their lives.
If they were younger I would agree with you.at their age ( 65 and older) how much do you really need when you are multi millionaires yourself

I’m not defending Buffet, rather business leaders in general, I don’t necessarily expect you to understand. I do think it’s incorrect to judge someone on an individual and personal level based on if they fire people or try to make their business turn a profit or improve profits.
