Carter is just telling the truth. His whole NIL image douchebag I think "I'm legendary" schtick may have made him a few million in college but like CC said it cost him 30 to 50 million in the NFL. His attitude won't do him any favors in the future either when a team is looking for a career backup who is a team first guy.
Or any favors when NFL defenses are tired of this all about me personality. Although I just dont think he is very good. Won’t play much except preseason
They are going to light his ass up. And if he blames his O linemen it will be Steaming Willy Beamon esque on the field. The NFL isn't Jackson State or the Big 12 son.
ewers left $4 million on the nil table to get that over four years in the nfl. nico, the former tennessee qb, left $2.4 million in knoxville for <$1 mill at ucla. now sanders overplays his hand costing him $50 million? the grass is oftentimes wilting on the other side of the proverbial fence it seems.
Kudos to Ewers for moving on from a college game where we routinely see guys stay for 6+ years now...which I find gross. That was a big boy move.
Weren’t you one of the ones saying sanders is one of the best qb in the draft and shouldn’t have fallen? Everybody knew he was an entitled douche before the draft. Nothing that had come out validates anything. It was all previously known
yes, i thought he'd go to cleveland in the first two rounds. he went later ... to cleveland. that makes him no less a brat.
that seems to be the nfl's view. time will complete the picture, not you nor me.
I mean sure you are stating the obvious. Time will tell. Watching him play and his mechanics tell me he is not draft material in the first couple of rounds.
He lost the value of a top 10 pick’s rookie contract. And with that, the corresponding pressure to play him and commitment to give him all the opportunities to develop. There is less patience, less margin than he could have had.
But it all comes down to whether he can show some flashes. And tone it down a bit.
