I do think Deion got lucky this year. Last year when he had to play in a tough Pac 12 Conference he was unsuccessful. This year the Big 12 is not good and to make it even better for Colorado, Utah that is normally pretty solid and well run is having a meltdown. The Big 12 plays no defense. Probably why OU is not doing well in the SEC. I think Deion's goals from the start have been to get Travis Hunter a Heisman and to get his son Shadeur exposure, so he is drafted high. He is going to come close with Hunter (he will make the top 3) and all the NFL guys that come on Cowherd, Gottleib and Dan Patrick think Shadeur could be the top QB drafted. I do not think Deion is dumb for a minute. I think he will take this year's success and parlay it into a better gig for himself. I am not sure the new gig will even involve coaching.
Nebraska got lucky with their schedule.
They got Colorado early before they figured it out, CU easily wins a rematch.
Utep - bottom 10 team in the country
UNI - terrible FCS team.
They got Illinois at home
Indiana with a first year head coach.
Purdue- worst team in the Big 18
Rutgers - still a bad team as they've always been.
Obviously Ohio State is the toughest game.
UCLA - first year head coach and bottom 3 of the Big 18.
Wisconsin- lost their starting QB against Alabama
USC - they are 3-4 and trending down
Iowa - offense is still inept and defense took a huge step back.
