SEC shouldn't have so many teams in playoff.

Knoxville was four degrees warmer than Columbus at kickoff time. If we were talking about Florida, Alabama, Georgia or even Ole Miss the weather might've been an issue. Biggest issue was Ryan Day didn't handcuff his offense trying to prove he could win like Woody Hayes.

Ohio State should've beaten that dominant Georgia squad two years ago. Why? His feelings weren't hurt and he let his talent run loose. I'm no Buckeye fan, but when they're playing to their potential that is a dominant team. Tennessee just didn't have the horses. Good season though.

Remember if any SEC fan tells you these playoff blowouts show the committee didn't get it right. Ask them how Tennessee fared against SEC teams this year.

And when Texas and Georgia meet in the final what will you say?

It’s so funny watching all the “SEC cheats!” people creaming their jeans rooting for the Yankees of college football

Most expensive roster (everyone hates NIL and transfer portal right?), more than touchdown favorite doing what was expected and all the dork B1G fans whose teams suck and are done can’t get enough

Perfect definition of irony

Watch the cuck responses roll in
I think if all schools released their figures, we'd find out that Texas, Oregon, and maybe even TAMU dwarf the OSU NIL of $20 million (and a few other schools) - especially Oregon with Phil Knight money

nd killing indiana or penn state killing smu, is not the surprise to me of ohio state killing tenn..
they just have oregon, texas and georgia to beat

Doesn’t change the fact that Tennessee was a fraud and had no business being in the playoffs. Maybe it should have been Bama or SCAR in there instead of Tennessee. Hell let the conferences decide who they want to send to the playoffs !

🤣 We can’t do that. SEC would try to send 12 teams every year and believe they’re justified in doing so…

Should have been the Hurricanes of Miami. NIL will dramatically decrease SEC’s talent level . Those broke ass southern states (outside of FL) can’t compete with the North

To many teams period, Should be 4 teams but it's all about the money.
Yep, TV money and since fans will pack the home team's stadium- even better. Doesn't matter that none of the four games were competitive. But it's fine, the only opinions that we hear are from people who profit directly or indirectly from the playoff expansion. A four team playoff is enough and most years a two team playoff would work. Someone would bitch if they got left out, but we're going to have that every year anyway. We had three loss teams bitching this year.

It’s crazy how hard it will be going forward to win a natty, especially for seeds 9-12, basically impossible. First, you need to win a road game against a top team, and if you somehow accomplish that, you have to win 3 more neutral site games against 3 top 8ish teams in a row. The depth on a team needed to survive that gauntlet is massive.

Hopefully Matt Rhule begins pointing out that you might not be able to win a championship without winning a cold game and staying close to home or in warm weather isn't always the best option.
That and turn on any NFL playoff game. Want to play in the NFL? You learn to play in the cold or you are the Miami Dolphins.👈 December and January is when champions play.
