Playoff Selection Thread…?

PSU seems to have the easiest path to the National Semi-finals. The others have brutal schedules to make it that far.

Texas would have to beat Clemson, Ohio State and Oregon to get to the semi's;
OSU has to beat Tenn, Oregon and Texas to get to the semi's;
Oregon has to beat Ohio State, Texas to get to semi's;
Dame needs to beat Ind, Ga, then maybe PSU to get to semi's;

It doesn't look easy for anyone. If GA beats ND, they have a clear path.
What were you looking at when you wrote the above?
Texas has to beat Clemson and ASU to make the semis. Both are ranked below PSU’s respective round opponents. Texas would play one of Oregon/tOSU/Tenn in a semi if they made it that far.
tOSU’s path above includes their potential semi matchup.
Oregon has to win one game (tOSU/Tenn) to make the semi.
ND wouldn’t theoretically play PSU until the semis.

Clemson just beat one of Penn State's "respective round opponents" and ASU would probably be favored over either of them if they were matched up today.

Penn State got a gift. Just enjoy it, instead of joining dozens of message boards just to try to convince people otherwise.

I pointed out multiple factually incorrect statements in the post I responded to. I challenge you to point out anything I wrote that was incorrect.

No, you didn't. You wet yourself over some statements you don't agree with, but nothing itseasyas1-2-3 posted was "factually incorrect."

LOL, I can't really follow this disagreement since I have 2 of those guys on Ignore.

No, you didn't. You wet yourself over some statements you don't agree with,
In post #121 I listed the correct information for the respective teams, but you ignored it with your intent on making an insult
but nothing itseasyas1-2-3 posted was "factually incorrect."
Since you are doubling down, I'll point it out for you line by line:
Texas would have to beat Clemson, Ohio State and Oregon to get to the semi's;
Incorrect information:
  • Texas does not need to win three games "to get to the semi's"
  • Texas could not play Ohio State before the semi's
  • Texas could not play Oregon before the semi's
OSU has to beat Tenn, Oregon and Texas to get to the semi's;
Incorrect information:
  • tOSU does not need to win three games "to get to the semi's"
  • tOSU could not play Texas before the semi's
Oregon has to beat Ohio State, Texas to get to semi's;
Incorrect information:
  • Oregon does not need to win two games "to get to semi's"
  • Oregon cannot play Texas before the semi's
Dame needs to beat Ind, Ga, then maybe PSU to get to semi's;
Incorrect information:
  • ND does not need to win three games "to get to semi's"

So what's the argument here?

I think he’s determined to join every message board where someone has the audacity to suggest that Penn State got an easier draw than they deserve. Will be a busy couple of weeks, since that is a widespread opinion among everyone outside of the PSU fan base.

On the other hand, Penn State’s two signature losses were quite impressive. So maybe winning is overrated.

You lied and are afraid to admit it.

You were wrong and are afraid to admit it.
I’m assuming it’s-as-easy meant “reach the finals” rather than the semifinals. So in that respect, I was wrong not to correct him before agreeing with what he said.

But since that isn’t even what you were bawling about when I first responded to your post, I’m sure you’ll be back with some more finger-wagging.

It must be exhausting, bouncing around to every message board where someone thinks Penn Stste got a gift draw.

If he intended for it to mean reach the finals, he still had the games for Texas messed up.

He left ASU out for their path, and it is impossible for Texas to have to play both tOSU and Oregon no matter how far they make it.

Texas was the first team he was listing opponents for, which led to my inquiring what he was he looking at.

You’ve tried to turn it into something else in your responses/accusations to me. That said, thank you for the admittance.
