I remember when living in Iowa in the 1980’s how Iowa State fans would continuously talk about how Nebraska wasn’t that good and shouldn’t be playing in some of the bowl games that they did, while their team owned an unbelievably long streak of losing seasons and was a complete failure in football. And here we are in 2024 emulating those same Iowa State fans.
