I find it interesting that nobody wants to talk about CT and his apparent thumb surgery? I guess the other thread got shut down.. hmm
If I recall correctly, his hand and the UT defense were the reasons given by the board for such a bad year for the longhorns in 2021.
Makes sense why he had such a low number of attempts during our spring game, yet he also managed to tell everyone he threw the ball several hundred times during spring camp. That probably means he re-injured it before the spring game. Will it be healed by fall? (skeptical)
I found it interesting that WWatson said Whipple wasn't calling the plays during the spring game either and that they were running the same 5-6 plays over and over.
Isn't that interesting to anyone else why maybe the offense looked so horrible? or is it just coincidence?
I guess finding this extra info out now, and looking back, I'm not really on board with the whole CT thing.. and why wasn't Whip calling the plays, and more of them? I mean, wtf are we doing?
Watson also said that Whipple told him the offense will be the same as what was at Pitt. So there aren't really any surprises.. it's not like the teams next year won't just dial up the Pitt games to see what you're running.
This is Scott Frostisms all over again it feels like to me.
