Puffs prediction thread

Sker’s need to score 34-37 points to win this game..

Sanders and Hunter can are very capable of from scoring 21-27 points.
So I don’t know where you think the under is in play unless you don’t think Nebraska won’t score that much.
If Nebraska establishes the run I could see the under play for sure.

3 keys to the game.

1. Discipline - Protect the ball.
2. Pressure - we need guys in Sanders face all day long.
3. Grind - their rush defense is bad. Run the ball to shorten the game and keep Sanders on the sidelines. This is truly a game where you use the run to open up the passing game.

Their d did decent against NDSU against the run but I think we will be able to take it to them. Run, run, run - get the D tired and frustrate the offense and just keep pounding.

We don’t need to get too fancy and show off DR - let’s break their spirit. DR will shine in all of his opportunities he has.

What I learned from the Buffs message board:

NDSU is a tough team, and the success the Buffs had against them will definitely carry over to the Nebraska game. UTEP on their hand is terrible, so anything Nebraska did well means nothing.

Dylan almost had a couple passes picked. Hunter will take those to the house.

Dylan is a complete non-factor in the running game. Nebraska’s running game will be easy to shut down without any threat of QB running.

So to summarize in a word “delusion”.

Nebraska 34

I'm taking the points and Colorado @ +7.5

Have not made the bet yet.

We establish the run and break down the CU defense, stupid penalties and turnovers stall promising drives. CU does nothing but big plays through the air, thinking like 3rd and 13 pick ups where the defense can't get off the field. Many drinks drunk, anger ensues.

The nation will be on notice. And DONU is inside the top 15.
My guess would be close to yours. However, Shadeur, Hunter and Horn can score any second. I see a minimum of at least matching the 8 sacks the D had last year.

I’m joining the relentless Shedeur hunt……now WE comin’.

I will say that I would expect NDSU to beat UTEP.That being said,CU defensive line can be ran on,I would expect PA passing to be effective.Dont get greedy, short crossing patterns with quick outs utilizing the tight end. When they start coming up and pressing then throw a deep post or a fly.The O-line needs to play lights out.Defense needs to contain Sheduer in the pocket and limit the blitzes.I think the final score will be 27-24 Big Red.

CU has no running game. The defense will clog the middle and force Sanders up in the pocket from the outside rushes. He will hit a couple of long plays, but little damage on the scoreboard. If the offense can control the clock and play keep away, this will not be close.

Both of CU's lines are suspect, they were exposed by NDSU. I look for a ground-and-pound run game with DR hitting game-changing passes. If the offense has 60-40 run plays vs pass plays, this keep NU on the field and CU off.

NU 31
CU 10
Missed by 3...
