Portal time. NU and others

I think some on here are going to freak out after our spring game and we have some who will move onto the portal. This is going to be the norm going forward it can't be avoided. With the largest recruiting class last cycle (31) there is going to be a thinning at Nebraska and it won't be just a few. jmo

Once his boys are gone he's gone.
You got that right. He want's his son to go number one in the draft and since he couldn't go number one in the draft this year (according to draft experts) he stayed at CU with pops in hopes of getting that top spot in the 2025 draft.

Sanders a self proclaimed Christian is not a good teaching coach imo, he's a used car salesman in a cheap suit selling his fools gold to the not so smart. I think he would put our lord and savior on waivers if he could and not look back.

According to 247, Fields' only other offers out of high school were Arkansas State, Abilene Christian, New Mexico State and North Texas. The "diamond in the rough" players rarely pan out.
Don't think his transfer has anything to do with on-field ability.

As a walk-on? He's barely seen the field for an FCS team in two years. He only has one tackle in his career.

Well the leading tackler for Montana was Sr. LB Braxton Hill with 128 Total, third leading tackler was fifth year Sr. LB Tyler Fink with 79, fourth leading tackler was fourth year Jr. LB Ryan Tirrell with 62, fifth leading tackler was fifth year Sr. LB Levi Janacaro with 61, and the sixth leading tackler was third year So. LB Riley Wilson with 53. So when was a Rs. Fr. LB supposed to get playing time?

If your wife isn’t sleeping with other men, she has definitely thought about it, because you are one miserable S.O.B.

Edit: Also those 5 LB’s accounted for 39.5 TFL, 17.5 Sacks, 2 INT’s, and 20 QBH.

Every guy we’ve gotten from U Montana over the last 5 years has been a day 1 starter

Great program, great coach up there

So why is he leaving now, with all of these other LBs graduating?

We've only gotten two guys from U Montana and they were both FCS All-Americans. One being a punter who only averaged 40 yards a punt last year, which was not even in the Top 100 nationally.

But was also unable to be recruited over/replaced
