Coaches taking bribes from players....All we need is players demanding more playing time and opportunities from their coaches so they can earn more NIL.
No possible problems with that scenario.

Stop being so negative, your becoming kong 😲😉Again, we might get a transfer QB but he’s not going to probably be the savior some think we can get.
@dinglefritz is exactly the same as me. running the same plays I ran for HH for purdy.Stop being so negative, your becoming kong 😲😉

careful, DingleLogic. Reality. History.

he's doing what he believes in, just like me.
I am nothing like you.careful, Dingle
people around here are not too fond of those things.
I agree. I don't want you to go down that road. Come back as DingleKong, John J. Dingle, RamboFritz or TopDingle. 😢I am nothing like you.
I’m just realistic about our chances of landing one of the top transfer QBs. Most of the guys entering the portal have their own weaknesses to deal with. Many weren’t expected to start for their own team. Kienholz would be fantastic but I don’t see it happening.I agree. I don't want you to go down that road. Reading between the lines, I don't think they are gonna take one unless one of the 3 QBs leave."A good quarterback in the portal costs $1M, $1.5M, just so we're on the same page"
"We believe in doing things the old school way, the hard way"
"Chubba has a high ceiling"
"Heinrich wasn't even allowed to go to quarterback meetings last year"

you're exactly like me
your posts about purdy starting next year and us not landing a portal QB better are literally copy/pasted from my posts earlier in the season about HH
I commend you for it. you're posting what you believe even if it's a hard truth nobody wants to hear.
more can learn from guys like you and me.
he also mentioned a fact that I was absolutely crucified for posting months ago:Reading between the lines, I don't think they are gonna take one unless one of the 3 QBs leave.
imo there will be one decent quarterback in the portal that decides to go to Nebraska to help turn it aroundLogic. Reality. History.

If Rhule seriously goes into next year with the same 3 QBs and a much tougher conference schedule....then I'd question whether he is trying to get fired to collect the buyout money.
$9.25M per year right there! If Rhule seriously goes into next year with the same 3 QBs and a much tougher conference schedule....then I'd question whether he is trying to get fired to collect the buyout money.
If we go into next season with the same 3 QBs I'm done with Husker football. If Rhule seriously goes into next year with the same 3 QBs and a much tougher conference schedule....then I'd question whether he is trying to get fired to collect the buyout money.
he's doing what he can.If we don't have 1.5 million to spend on a portal QB. I'm curious what rule is supposed to do about it? Of course, you would like to land the top portal transfer QB.... But if you can't do that, then you have no choice but to work with what you have
I think Rhule knows that it won't take a top portal transfer QB to make us better than we were thoughIf we don't have 1.5 million to spend on a portal QB. Best part of him saying that is that it took $500k to get Sims.I imagine the line of QBs beating down our door to play for Rhule next year just got a lot longer after this
If we're paying 500k for Sims then 1 million better not be out of the question for an actual stud QB.Best part of him saying that is that it took $500k to get Sims.
And very soon, hopefully today or tomorrow NU will announce CB Amare Sanders has committed and after his Dec 8th visit, announce OT Xander Ruggeroli has committed. I think Rhule has some hard talks with some guys this week and freeing up a scholly for a QB won't be a problem."our roster is already maxed out"
- Rhule
I've been so busy today I haven't had a chance to see any of the PC. It's a little frustrating to see these soundbites. I mean, I'm pretty sure he watched the games this year and saw a 9 win team go 5-7 because of QB play. Why do things the hard way?"A good quarterback in the portal costs $1M, $1.5M, just so we're on the same page"

he's doing what he can.
this is the second time he's taken a public shot at the guys holding the purse in a few weeks.
many here will deny either ever happened.
I'm just so glad we hired a guy who not only has zero experience in today's college football landscape, but also outwardly expresses his disdain for it every chance he getsI did not take that presser that way...he's been very consistent about the subject...he doesn't love it and like you said...he's doing what he can.
