Will Howard would be an absolute coup for Rhule
Instant offense
Didn’t take him 4 years in school to win a game, either

It doesn’t existI’m not going to waste my time going back through your posts to find it. You’ve proven you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. Back to the ignore bin.
Well we won’t win very much with HH either he isn’t a good passer unless he throws the post route..Never once said he couldn’t run
Said a lot he couldn’t throw or win
He’s not a leader and wouldn’t be missed if he quit
He’s not a good passerWell we won’t win very much with HH either he isn’t a good passer unless he throws the post route..
....and get a graduate degree from a Big Ten university.Purdy is an interesting case. He might graduate in May. He could then transfer as a grad transfer and play two more years. He might be looking for some guarantees at Nebraska. I dont know. If I were him, Id stay put because he’s put in the work, knows the team, and this gives him the best chance to succeed. You can’t worry about who else they might bring in. You have to be confident enough that you are the guy.
Purdy would have started ahead of HH if he was 100%.He’s not a good passer
But he’s a good player and teammate
Faces hard questions like a man when he plays like shit and the team loses instead of bawling and going home
I think he’ll get better despite the current QB coach/play caller. This was his first ever exposure to P5 game action and he went 5-2.
My biggest concern was him picking Satterfield as OC. But, since he’s here at least one more year it seems, I hope we get a couple new QBs that can sling itWell I'm sure there are multiple good QB choices in the portal and Nebraska "could" definitely land one of them with NIL. My biggest concern is Rhule's judgment in selecting the right one to go after.
if if ifPurdy would have started ahead of HH if he was 100%.
Saying Purdy wouldn’t have won those games is not realistic…
I blame some of the play calling by Satterfield as much of the problem why we had a lot of turnovers…
Until this year he couldn’t. In the grand scheme he still really only has that long run against Wisconsin. I’ll give the kid credit. He looked better this year than anticipated and didn’t seem to turn it over as much. We still need a QB as he is a fine backup but should not be a starter if we ever want to truly win.
Dream scenario would be Howard and Kienholz.
We have many underclassmen QBs that will hit the portal come Dec 4th.
Right now, I believe officially you have to be a grad transfer to be in there or coach was fired. Some of the names aren’t grad transfers but say they “intend” to hit the portal.. it will be nuts come Dec 4 and after.
I see QBs from tOSU, UGA, Bama, Texas, etc hitting the portal.
New Hampshire went 6-5 this year behind all that production.

Only thing I would say is, you're going to be surprised at how attractive we are once enough $$$ is offered...hahaYou lost me at zero chance of them bringing in a QB better than him. We are not an attractive spot right now for a top QB. That’s the problem. IF we get a talented guy it will be somebody who is destined to be second team next fall at his existing school. I firmly believe that when healthy Purdy w could start for a lot of P5 programs.
I think we need to retain both Purdy and Haarberg if for no other reason than their knowledge of the offense. Starting completely over in that room would be a problem IMO.
Honesty I think the pick of Sims and game management at the end of the 4th quarter are on Rhule. I'm not impressed after the November collapse. My biggest concern was him picking Satterfield as OC. But, since he’s here at least one more year it seems, I hope we get a couple new QBs that can sling it
Honesty I think the pick of Sims and game management at the end of the 4th quarter are on Rhule. I'm not impressed after the November collapse. I didn't expect the team to be world beaters this season but I was looking for continuous improvement as the season went on and didn't see it in November.
You can drop out of the Naval academyThis had me puzzled as well.
Geezus. Did you even watch the games.Until this year he couldn’t. In the grand scheme he still really only has that long run against Wisconsin. I’ll give the kid credit. The top QBs are going to get similar money from winning programs. USC and Washington to name 2.Only thing I would say is, you're going to be surprised at how attractive we are once enough $$$ is offered...haha
But seriously, have to bring in 1,2 or 3 guys to compete for the QB1 role next season. Not worried at all about them not knowing "our offense".
Well, yes, that’s true. It seemed at times he was a newer coach figuring crap out, not some turnaround guru who also coached in the NFL. Frankly I don’t know how we end up with all these guys, while the DeBoer and Lanning types get hired by other schools.Honesty I think the pick of Sims and game management at the end of the 4th quarter are on Rhule. I'm not impressed after the November collapse.
I'll take this guy first. 67 percent. That's impressive. Imagine throwing the ball to your own team? That would be a shock!!Do we really want another QB who has lost a lot of games? I'd rather someone from a winning culture.
Must have hated rowing. The list of QB's keeps growing. Geez
He's beaten us two years in a row. Hopefully, he'll go to a team that we don't play in the next few years. The list of QB's keeps growing. Geez
Yeah. You obviously didn’t Mr. Purdy. He turned it over twice in crunch time, but keep fellating him.Geezus. Did you even watch the games.
Hard pass. The list of QB's keeps growing. Geez
