Pelini, the type of people they are, if you had any doubt

Everything in his tweet is true. So? You need a whole box of tissues dont you. You need to just let it go. Who arranged pelinis buyout? Be mad at that guy, not a poster who states the truth. So the kid stated some facts to piss off some husker fans. Get some thick skin. It dont bother me one bit.
I am surprised you were not passed out. Good on you.

The son revealed his character as to his feelings toward Nebraska, thst is for sure. With dad's past examples for decision making in emotional situations, thinking deleting the email wasn't the only thing dad wanted to delete there, at least for a while.

Funny, Pelini used to put his players on Twitter bans, and his son does that.

Hard to be upset at the kid. I actually feel sorry for him, and any potential future wife of his. The "men" in that family have set a terrible example for him. Worst part is there are still idiots in our fan base that feel the same way.
Looks like he deleted it. Here's the text if you didn't see it.
"Shoutout Wisconsin with the W. Also shoutout Nebraska for the payment of the college education for me and my siblings"
Deleting a chickenshit tweet about as pussy a move as talking shit behind closed doors about the fans and AD, lol, wonder where pelini Jr learns this classless stuff?? Ha...hmmm

Hopefully the education we gave him, he will use wisely.
as Noah Webster said, education is useless without God and the Bible.

You're welcome kid, I'd happily pay more than what you're getting for your old man to not be our coach.

This Husker fan wondered why Bo got the job from day 1 but I gave him the benefit of the doubt for a while because Tom hired him. Frank warned Tom not to hire him and Tom went with the pressure from 2 boosters. Then when it became evident very early that Bo was not cut out to represent our university Tom stubbornly defended him for multiple years. Tom hired him and refused to fire him so yes Tom bears responsibility for Bo, just like SP bears responsibility for Bill Callahan.
I always heard Frank helped him get hired. Tom and Frank were pretty close. I don't know why Tom would hire him if Frank thought that poorly of him. Tom was brought in to fix a mess. I highly doubt two boosters made the decision.

Tom may have been a helluva hall of fame coach..but he's had spotty record in terms of helping the University after he left the sidelines.
The skills of a coach don't always (perhaps even rarely) translate into skills for an AD. Just as the skills of an asst coach/coordinator often do not translate into the skills needed to be a successful head coach.

Bo was an interim head coach for a bowl game against Michigan State (?) after Solich, right? I remember feeling a little bit hopeful when they decided to bring him back, based on that game, and his LSU defenses. I thought maybe a tough, defensive minded coach was just what we needed after Callahan. Man, was I wrong. I seriously hate what he did his last few years here. He did not handle the pressure placed on him well, at all! Totally over playing the, "us vs the world" mentality. I'm so happy he is gone, I'm sure the whole family feels slighted, but only because Bo couldn't see past his own nose. He couldn't see, or maybe didn't care how his behavior effected the program and the players relationship with the people that supported them. It feels good to be a Husker fan again. I'm glad I no longer have to feel conflicted, when it comes to something that is suppose to allow you to escape from reality, and bring you joy!

Someone just retweeted this on my time line. If my son was a senior and tweeted this, his ass would be raw for a month.

Bo and his brother were and always will be urban legends that were formed by fortunate circumstances not talent or ability. Talk about getting way to much credit for being at the right place and the right time and put on a banner as a contributor he benefited more than many I have seen. He is just a bygone.

I don't know, it might have been good for Riley to lose it last night after the DPI no call and swear, rant, spit, and piss his pants, then get a 15-yarder. With 4th and goal from the 35, Tommy might have had more room to operate than 4th and goal from the 20.

OK. Here's a question. If it was obvious what kind of guy Bo was ... There are many stories from his LSU days. Was Les Miles less than honest in his assessment of Bo when TO inquired??

It didn't matter what anyone said. I was ok with Tom making the hire (that is what the AD is paid to do). But the babysitting and years of trying to cover-up the filth brought into the program was just plain wrong.

I think Frank helped Bo get hired as his DC, not to be the new HC at Nebraska.

I could be wrong, maybe Frank did put in a good word for Bo to be our HC, but I really don't think Frank was asked for his opinion.

BTW how about them Fightin' Franks taking down a solid Toledo team? Ohio were 15 point dogs....

Frank IN FACT WARNED Tom that Bo was not cut out to be Nebraska's head coach. Tom decided to go with the desires of a couple of high $ booster golf buddies of Bo's instead. Along with that Tom knew he could get Bo to re-hire some of Frank's staff which none of the other interviewees would agree to. So even if Les Miles had given an inaccurate reference to Tom it shouldn't have mattered. I'm sure Tom thought he could work with Bo and fix any issues he had. He was wrong.
