I guess its possible. The 1960s site has a way smaller footprint than anyone would expect so it might not be that hard to conceal one. The hatch door on the one I know of is probably only 20' in diameter and if I didn't know it was there I never would have found it accidentally.

Any more word on these things. Seems like it was all just swept under the rug and ignored. Anything every come out about who was behind it?
Drones are all over the place now, I wonder if some people are just seeing their neighbors drone and trying to relate it to what's going on out west???
You don't own the airspace above your property, and drones are considered aircraft. So shooting one down could get you into major (federal) trouble. I would highly recommend you not shoot one down. But, if you want to do it for our amusement, go ahead. Just broadcast it and the trial live so we can follow along.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw the drones at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.
A friend of mine put his laser sign on one the other night, he told me in about 3 minutes 8 more showed up

Yes I’m not sure if it was a red or green laser sight. He said he was watching through his scope and thought what the hell he’d put his sight on it. He lives north east of Lincoln, I live around the Hebron fairbury area and they’ve been around here also. I have a decent still picture of one it just a light though. These are high dollar ones, I’d estimate 6 foot wing span, there fuel propelled not battery
They've now arrested a Chinese national in California for flying a drone over a US military base and using it to ta pictures of that base. I have little doubt that we've let thousands of Chinese, Russian, Iranian and North Korean agents in to this country. Most likely the Chinese have agents flying the larger drones over our cities and military bases to test our ability or willingness to respond to an air based attack from bomb or chemical agent carrying weapons. First they did it with balloons. Now they're testing our military response with drones. I can't imagine that they're gaining any information they can't get from satellites during the day but maybe they want to see what we're doing at night and whether or not we can detect them and neutralize them. China is preparing for war and we're doing virtually nothing in response.
Based on how all of that didn't seem to be taken seriously, I'd think they'd feel favorably about their ability to attack.
Seemed to get laughed off and really never had much traction besides a few news stories.
Our military is strictly training for war with China.

At a time when we drained our strategic oil reserve, China has more oil in reserve than they ever have and no doubt much of it from Russia. They're constantly running maneuvers around Taiwan and have run military drills with North Korea, Iran and Russia. The new axis of evil has been established. China is taking over our military bases in multiple African countries and are making loans to them for infrastructure that they can never repay. Their influence in South America now is scary sh## not to mention their obvious involvement in the supply of destructive narcotics and their precursors to South America and the US. This is not a debatable partisan issue.
95% of Americans are asleep at the wheel. Before long they'll wake up and ask, "what the fvck just happened?"

The SPR was an insurance policy created when our oil production was declining. Not the case right now. We produce as much #2 and #3 combined. People like to spread all kinds of rumors about oil, but the fact remains that we are producing more oil then ever.
China produces 1/4 of what we do, in addition to being the world's 2nd largest consumer. Their production is also in decline. So, yeah, it makes sense that they need to have a big reserve. Their best friend and oil buddy isn't exactly known for being the most trustworthy type.
If you’re sitting at home drinking bourbon watching Fox News or MSNBC or whatever trash you watch, you have zero clue what our military is preparing for. I’m not worried about the military, I’m worried about our industrial base that outsources everything in order to seek nothing but profits.
The big question is, will the tariffs create the incentive to bring those manufacturing jobs back to the US?
I hope so.. that would make me super optimistic about our future, IF we can do that.
The last 3 or so years, many businesses have pulled out of China and instead stuck it in Mexico or other nearshore based operations. I hope the country can withstand the tariffs long enough to entice those businesses to move their operations back inside the country.
Nevertheless, prices for some things are going to go a lot higher.. we're going to get another round of inflation, and that's going to wipe a lot of people out.
As for the drones, there is zero chance that some rogue country is sending drones all over the US. This is in all likelihood our own Military run by the Military Industrial Complex that is testing new stuff and quite possibly going to fight back at the new President who is threatening to pull all their funding.

As to your last paragraph, there's no question our military is running a psy ops with the drones. They don't let unknown vessels circle bases, especially nuclear bases and not know who's operating them. First, they run a F-16 past to see its not manned or a person is dead, then they would issue a warning and then they would shoot it down.
It's all a bullshit psy ops.
If the tariff thing takes off, you are correct, prices on many things are gonna skyrocket. Do we really think China is gonna pay for those price increases via tariffs?
Anytime someone says "this isn't debatable" or "it doesn't matter which side you're on....." I know for a fact that it is debatable AND it matters greatly how you view the world when looking at whatever problem they are talking about.
Same goes for "this isn't a partisan issue". It's always a partisan issue for those people. If it wasn't, they wouldn't need a disclaimer.
The tariffs mentioned are likely posturing for negotiations. That said, because of it those conversations to bring manufacturing back to the US are already happening. When you outsource the building of complex products to Mexico, it is typically a shit show.
oh absolutely.. Trump loves to gain leverage on things for negotiating.. same with the Nato deal.. he wouldn't leave that, but he knows how to get leverage to get what he wants.
Let's see.. When you can buy the American made washer and dryer or the Chinese made washer and dryer for the same price, most people know what the right answer is... then multiply that across many products and industries. We could have a skyrocketing economy after the effects of the disruption are over.
