Ed Foley level special teams not putting a return man back there on final play
Dude. NDSU’s Lance has come on late this year. Wish we had him. He’s a true difference maker. Vigen is a great coach. If State can't win tonight, they should fire their coach!
Wish we had him. Great WR.Pretty good game. Kudos to Lance, had a nice game.
Not to hate on Raiola, but both of the QBs in this game looked like better overall players than him at this point of his career. Obviously they aren’t freshman playing against B1G defenses but I love their mobility. MSU’s QB has some wheels. Would take either one. They might be better QBs than Gronowsky.Loved talking to a great NDSU player a few years back…
Told him I loved betting on them every chance I got because Vegas couldn’t seem to figure FCS out.
He was extremely proud about knowing and letting me know they COVERED every playoff game the year before.QBs
Dingle, you missed my humor since both teams are "state." I should have added the for sarcasm alert.Dude. NDSU’s Lance has come on late this year. Wish we had him. He’s a true difference maker. Vigen is a great coach.
Vigen’s a very good coach. I think NDSU’s coach has more to prove. Vigen has built programs quickly.I really hope Iowa doesn't hire Tim Polasek once Kirk retires.
Would love to see Wyoming make a run at one of these guys, however.
up until we hired DH, both QBs had much much better coaching than Raiola did.Not to hate on Raiola, but both of the QBs in this game looked like better overall players than him at this point of his career. At least from an OC standpoint. Thomas is still coaching QBs. The play calling (selection/timing) obviously improved. It’s tough to judge the bowl game performance in the second half in part because that field was a mess. I think with a faster surface we would have stretched the lead out in that game.up until we hired DH, both QBs had much much better coaching than Raiola did.
Vigen played and coached at NDS.Vigen’s a very good coach. I think NDSU’s coach has more to prove. Vigen has built programs quickly.
Lol. Miller is a 5th year starter at a FCS program. The most dominate FCS program. At Miller's point in his career, Raiola will be in the NFL. Guy has played in 67 games and started over 50 of them. I would expect him to look pretty seasoned. Not to hate on Raiola, but both of the QBs in this game looked like better overall players than him at this point of his career. Good synopsis. Both are well coached teams which is refreshing to watch regardless if its FCS or FBS - no turnovers, few penalties, and solid special teams on both sides. A stark contrast to what we've seen at NU for far too long.NDSU has won by dominating the LOS. Today we saw that again. MSU was stuck with "3 yards in a cloud of dust", which was unusual for the year. Outside of Touchdown Tommy popping one, every yard was tough to earn.
NDSU's Lance was an obvious stud and a game changer. The soft coverage game plan by MSU was interesting and led to a lot of easy 7 yard out passes, keeping drives on or ahead of schedule for NDSU. I would have liked to see MSU more aggressive with their DB's.
Never say never I guess , thinking when KF moves on its Levar Wood’s job to lose.I really hope Iowa doesn't hire Tim Polasek once Kirk retires.

My. Point didn’t conflict with your statement. Reread it.Lol. Miller is a 5th year starter at a FCS program. The most dominate FCS program. At Miller's point in his career, Raiola will be in the NFL. Guy has played in 67 games and started over 50 of them. I would expect him to look pretty seasoned.
I will watch on occasion if I come across a game as I scroll the channels, but I am not going to seek it out or set aside Tuesday night to watch ESPN MACtion. You don’t watch non-power conference football?
