Saw a picture of the Carl Vinson coming home to port. Impressive. God bless those that serve and their families. And thank you to those that have.

On a side note, my nephew is scheduled for a May deployment (USMC). I'm excited for him. I sure hope he ends up in Japan and not Afghanistan. I'm sure he'll serve honorably, regardless.

My nef told me last week that he's going to Okinawa for six months. I told him, "Good!"

Last week, I was telling everyone, with all the events going down in Syria, that I wished I was young enough to do duty again. I'd do it for that. Then tonight happened. Crazy world we live in. Thank God for the USA.
